Este mensaje está destinado a quienes quieren tener el futuro en sus manos, quieren ser agentes del cambio en su sociedad y en el mundo, no se conforman con la rutina ni tampoco con lo que les brindan los espacios tradicionales de educación. A lo largo de los recorridos por el país y en el contacto y conversaciones con los jóvenes, hemos encontrado por un lado un hambre permanente de conocimientos y por otro, la evidencia de que es necesario introducir elementos como liderazgo, énfasis en valores, fortalecimiento de la democracia, dentro de un centro de capacitación que está mirando el deber ser de la sociedad, estos elementos conllevan y hacen parte de la formación de los nuevos líderes que demanda el presente y el futuro del Ecuador. Rosalía Arteaga Serrano - ecuatoriana, primera mujer en ocupar los cargos de Presidenta y Vicepresidenta Constitucional del Ecuador. Exsecretaria General de la Organización del Tratado de Cooperación Amazónica, fue también Viceministra de Cultura y Ministra de Educación. Abogada, doctora en jurisprudencia, egresada de periodismo y Máster en antropología. Se desempeñó hasta el año 2007 como miembro del Consejo Editorial de la Enciclopedia Británica, también como directora de Fundación Natura Regional. Ejerce desde el año 2007 hasta el 2012 como miembro del Consejo directivo del Centro Agronómico de Investigación y Enseñanza (CATIE) en Costa Rica. Desde el 2014 es Miembro de la Academia Mundial de Arte y Ciencia. En la actualidad es Presidenta Ejecutiva de Fundación FIDAL, miembro de Consejo Directivo de la Biblioteca de Alejandría y del Grupo Atlantis.
El Centro de Formación para el Futuro, ha sido creado para aquellas personas que quieren ser protagonistas de su propio destino, que aspiran a convertirse en líderes o que ya lo son dentro de sus comunidades. El CFF es un espacio en el que las ideas novedosas son bienvenidas, en el que las modernas tecnologías serán parte de su vivencia diaria, pero en el que los valores serán también integrantes de ese menú de opciones que les ofrecemos. RosalĂa Arteaga Serrano - Ecuadorian, the first woman to have occupied the position of President and Constitutional Vice President of Ecuador. Former General Secretary of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization, she was also Deputy Minister of Culture and Minister of Education. She is a lawyer, a Doctor’s degree in Jurisprudence and has a Master's degree in Anthropology. She served until 2007 as a member of the Editorial Board of the Encyclopedia Britannica, as well as Regional Director of Natura Foundation. She practiced from 2007 until 2012 as a member of the Board of Agricultural Research and Education Center (CATIE) in Costa Rica. Since 2014 she is member of the World Academy of Art and Science.
This message is intended for those who want to hold the future in their hands, who want to be agents of change in their society and in the world, and for those who do not settle with the routine nor with the traditional spaces of education. Throughout journeys across the country and after having contact and speaking with young people, we have found on one hand, a permanent hunger for knowledge and on the other hand, the evidence that it is necessary to introduce elements such as leadership, emphasis on values and consolidation of democracy within a training center that considers the moral principles within the society, these elements are essential for the training of the new leaders that the present and future of Ecuador demand. The Training Center for the Future, has been created for those who want to be the protagonists of their own destiny, who aspire to become leaders or that already are within their communities. The CFF is a space where new ideas are welcome, where modern technologies are part of the daily experience, and where values are integrated to the menu of options we offer.
