This interconnection platform includes also the upmost internationally creative, represented by 100 emerging designers from five continents and selected by Not Just a Label, who will set the trends as opinion leaders for the fashion and accessory sectors via their creations and collections. ORIGIN PASSION AND BELIEFS represents an unconditioned cross fertilization exercise among the most innovative players of the global market, able to make connections between different skills, know-how and experiences - from creativity to production, design to sale, materials to retail. Slovak born designer Anita Nemkyova is the point where arts and crafts collide. Prior to fashion, her background was in costume and theatre design where she gained not only the knowledge of garment construction, but also developed a ‘sixth sense’ for the body -garment relationship. The female body form and traditional craftsmanship are continued themes that are explored within her work. ‘’Being far away from home, it is easy to forget your cultural roots, to forget about all those beautiful things you used to get excited about’’ explained Anita. He studied his second year at Marangoni in London and finished in Milan where he introduced a new fabric for the very first time on a fashion show, made of optical fiber.
