Cathy Nordström is a surface designer based in Stockholm. Cathy is crazy about vintage wallpaper and fabric and finds much of her inspiration there. She finds a huge amount of inspiration in nature and books about flora and fauna. When developing a collection, Cathy tends to start with a personal experience, whether it be a childhood memory or a recent trip to a new place. Cathy’s style is a mixture of her Scandinavian heritage and her deep love for lush and extravagant patterns and fabrics. Entire Collection 15 Cotton pcs + 4 Rayon pcs Röllakan collection is inspired by the Swedish craft of weaving rugs. Typical for the Röllakan rug was the combination of strong geometric designs and artful motifs based on regional folklore. The artists behind these amazing designs were always women and they signed their finished pieces by weaving their initials into the rug.

Ontario, Canada Emily Taylor is a surface designer and freelance illustrator based in Toronto’s fashion district. With one foot in Ontario and the other in Maritime Canada, Emily draws her main source of inspiration from the natural world. Emily often pulls on personal nostalgia and vintage aesthetics. When not found drawing away, you can likely locate Emily at an antique market scavenging for new inspirations, wandering fruit stalls, roaming a coastline with her camera or cultivating her ever-growing indoor garden.

Entire Collection 16 Cotton pcs Salt Wind is inspired by walking the shoreline in Prince Edward Island; under booted-feet crunches the beach’s mosaic covering of scallop and mussel shells, while around you thickets of daisies sway and hundreds of pink wild roses perfume the air. Towards the salt marshes you can spot a myriad of tiny crabs scuttle in and out of the grasses and drifting sea fronds. This collection is a love letter to maritime Canada, a place where inspiration grows at your very fingertips.

No matter what her medium is, Danielle’s playful style aims to make your average day a little bit brighter. She’s particularly inspired by her childhood memories, past decades– especially mid-century art and design, flowers, the outdoors, road trips and thrift shops.

Yorkshire, UK In 2012, illustrator Louise Lockhart was working in a beautiful stationery shop in Vancouver which inspired her to start her own line of illustrated products. Louise now lives and works in an old cotton mill in sunny Yorkshire, UK where she spends her days creating designs from little paper cut outs and line drawings. Inspired by vintage textiles and print ephemera, her unique and colourful work has been applied to a varied selection of products including toys, games, clothes and pieces for your home. Louise is also a freelance illustrator, working on children’s books and collaborating with clients such as Boden, Anthropologie, Liberty and Heal’s.
