About the projects: Knowledge Pills Methodology – efficient learning and knowledge sharing for SMEs
WebQuest for HRM – collaborative blended learning methodology for VET
The project promotes efficient teaching, knowledge sharing and management by means of so called Knowledge Pills (substantial information compressed to audio/video form). The main tool of KPM is a short instructional movie presenting how to conduct certain activities in the work station. The Knowledge Pills Methodology (KPM) is a framework of efficient education and knowledge sharing in the company. It uses a set of tools designed to easily and effectively share knowledge and skills among employees. Implementation of the project enables to use and spread the knowledge already existing in the company efficiently, as well as to train your employees at their workplace. Moreover, using the Knowledge Pills as a knowledge sharing mechanism supports organisational changes in small and medium enterprises, cutting company costs and helps to increase revenues.
The project promotes innovative training methods based on blended language learning model and work group making use of new media and the Web 2.0 environment. The aim of the project is improvement of HRM training so that is becomes more effective and interactive, but also increases the employees’ motivation for learning and developing their skills. Moreover, the project aims to promote group work in the internet environment of HR specialists, as well as create common high quality solutions in the area of management of human resources with the use of the Web 2.0 tool.

Conference: On 9 November 2012, a key meeting of decisive persons in the area of Human Resources Management will be organised. The Congress is a special meeting of professionals working on the issue of using new media in education that enables them to present best practices, current research results and the newest trends in education and business. Due to the fact that the Congress will be visited by experts from numerous companies, it will offer a great opportunity to present forecasts for development of educational tools supported by technology, to carry out discussions in a group of prestigious companies’ representatives as well as informal talks. The motto of the next edition of the eduTRENDS 2012 Congress is “social education + audio/video”.
Participants: user interaction in creating their contents results in a situation when education gains new value thanks to access to information resources. Internet network has become the basic communication and information exchange tool in a very short time. Offer of cooperation As a part of substantial cooperation, the Organiser shall be obliged to: 1) promote the Speaker and the company he or she represents in: • the information leaflet with the programme of the Congress: lecture title, key issues, Speaker’s first name and surname, company logos; • the internet service of the Congress: title and description of the lecture, Speaker’s short biography, Speaker’s photo, company logos; • the Congress guide disseminated among the participants of the Congress: title and description of the lecture, Speaker’s short biography, Speaker’s photo, company logos; • social portals, on the Knowledge Pills Methodology and WebQuest for HRM websites where the Speakers can meet and talk even before the conference; • in the nf.pl service (on the home page and in newsletters and mailing). • The aforementioned information will be published under the condition that the Speakers provide it within the deadline set by the Organisers. 2) equip the conference room in the devices necessary to carry out the lecture, in accordance with the needs reported by the Speakers: • the basic equipment includes: multimedia overhead projector, laptop with a downloaded presentation, screen, sound system, microphone, flipchart, markers; • ensure support of technical services during the lecture, as well as to ensure a person in charge of the conference room. As a part of the participation the Speakers are ensured: lunch, coffee breaks, conference pack.

Principles of cooperation 1. A lecture at the eduTRENDS 2012 Congress may only raise purely substantial issues and it must not contain any elements of advertising of the subject represented by the Speaker or its products. 2. The suggested lecture must be a presentation not made before on any other congress or conference organised by another company. 3. Substantial cooperation as a part of the eduTRENDS 2012 Congress is independent from promotional cooperation and is free of charge for both of the parties, which means that the Speaker does not pay for participation in the event, and the Organiser does not incur any costs connected therewith. You are welcome to send you suggested lecture topics and your prior declaration of cooperation. Sending a lecture proposal does not have to result in including it in the programme of the event. The Organiser decides of the exact time of a lecture. The main criteria in assessment of the proposed lectures are the factual level of the lecture, its innovation and compliance with the layout of Speaker’s lectures presented in the ‘types of lectures’ part. Solution suppliers are asked to send their proposals for lectures together with their Customer / representative of the Company where the solution was used. In case a Speaker has been selected to make a presentation, the Speaker shall be obliged to send any materials connected therewith by the dates specified by the project manager. In case the Speaker fails to fulfil the condition, the Organiser has a right to refuse to accept their presentation.

Applications with proposals of presentations You are very welcome to submit proposals of presentations providing the following information: 1. Title of the lecture 2. Short description (up to 800 letters) of the lecture 3. First name, surname, function of the Speaker Applications shall be sent at paulina.krakowska@nowoczesnafirma.pl until 31 May 2012.
