We do not proclaim to be another newspaper and we will not be aiming to compete with other news outlets. You can obtain your news from other sources. We feel you get enough of this already. We will keep our news topics to a minimum and only provide what we feel is most relevant topics to you each month.
Lastly, we want to ask you, the local community, to support the fundraising initiatives that we will be developing and rolling out over the coming years. Our aim is to help as many NFP and other like organisations to raise much needed funds to help them to keep operating. Our fundraising initiatives will never simply ask for money from you. We will also aim to provide something of worth to you before you part with your hard-earned money. The first initiative is the Find Cards and Find Coupons – similar to the Entertainment Book but cheaper and more localised. Any NFP and similar organisations e.g., schools, sporting clubs, can participate.

As you are asking yourself these questions breathe and FOCUS on yourself, calm your breathing and notice your body calming, bring thoughts of love, kindness, joy, gratitude, or whatever words bring a sense of calm and peace to you.
Compassion? Understanding of where you are at?
In this space ask yourself:
FocusAwarenessNotice
In the film, ET quickly built trust with those around him, and without a full understanding of words, he felt love and secure enough to put trust in those around him to help him get home. It was love, compassion and togetherness that go him home. How might you help yourself, your fear/ stress/ anxiety get back home? home to love trust and understanding?
By bringing yourself back to a place of love and out of a state of fear you can navigate your world differently more empowered, and you could help those around you come back to a place of love come back to a place of feeling like home within themselves, bring back a sense of togetherness.
• What if I showed compassion to those who have a different perception and opinion?
With so much divide and civil unrest it is a time to come together despite how we individually choose to experience and perceive the world right now. Life is tough enough without the divide of our personal point of views around covid. What if we could show compassion, love, and respect, despite our differences of opinions? Could the journey out of this psychologically and emotionally could be through love, compassion, and togetherness?
In fear we might feel withdrawn, we might believe we have no choice, we are stuck, hopeless, attacked, angry, or in procrastination. We might also be forthright, overstep other people’s boundaries with words or actions. We might make irrational decisions and statements, act in a way to ‘protect' ourselves but hurt or disrespect others in the process, our bodies might feel a bit off, low in energy, or feel we want to take flight. Whatever it is for you one of the first steps is to NOTICE this. Notice where your thoughts and thinking are at, how your body is feeling, what are your actions doing?
How might your fear/ anxiety/ stress react to being on an unknown world – the world of covid and being screamed at, feared? What might it need to feel safe? What might it need to be ok with being there and understood?
present in our lives and not knowing what could happen when this might leave us, and what it could do while it is here.
If we use ET as a symbol that represents our fear showing up having been triggered by the uncertainty of COVID being
• If I was in a state of love or certainty, what would I do? What would I think? Feel? Act?
So how can we move from fear to love?

Fear is a part of you that can do unpredictable things to your thinking, perception, and actions, it can be a part of you that you shame, a part of you that you might be scared of as it might be alien to you, or let it become part of your identity when it never used to be.
This can be also true with many right now, as they are in panic and want to contain, ignore, or destroy their fear.
Once you empower yourself with noticing yourself, your thoughts, emotions, and feeling are you give yourself the gift of awareness. With this AWARENESS, you can put words and understanding to where you are at and what state of mind and emotions you are in. You can then choose to change your thinking and focus to bring you back to love.
On many levels and areas in life, there is stress right now and most of it comes from FEAR showing up when COVID showed ETup.is

This might be easier said than done right now yet love and understanding helps us feel safe and secure in moving forward in our lives.
It was understanding, trust, compassion, and love that helped ET get home. What could help you to get back to a place that you know you are home within yourself? Is it love?
What is that your fear might need, in this unknown time?
an iconic film of an extra-terrestrial showing up after being left behind and his journey to get back home. The journey to get home for him was scary, unknown, and filled with uncertainty about the place he had been left behind in. He learns to trust those around him overcomes his fear, likewise, the humans around him build trust in him, rally around in love and compassion to keep ET safe and get him home. Likewise, there were a group who fear him, hunted him, wanted to capture him.

• give someone to deliver it who gives the wrong information
Clear communication is vital in this age of fast internet access.

If you want to send a message that cannot be misinterpreted (especially one that could save lives!), don’t:
What was that again?
Turkey asked Great Britain and France for help against the invasion, which is why, on a late October day in 1854, the British, French and Turkish armies stared down a valley at their Russian enemy. There were only two mounted brigades, one of which was the Light Brigade. As the name suggests, it consisted of light, fast, unarmoured horses and men armed with lances and sabres, but no guns. They were trained and armed for maximum mobility and speed, not a long march or a handto-hand battle.
Did you know they all died because of poor communications?
To make matters worse, the message had been drafted by someone other than Raglan and delivered by another who, when asked by Cardigan which guns, pointed to the wrong ones!

Lord Raglan wishes the cavalry to advance rapidly to the front, follow the enemy, and try to prevent the enemy carrying away the guns. Troop horse artillery may accompany. French cavalry is on your left.Immediate.

The Crimean War
How does this apply to our 21st-century lives? No matter who you are, there are many times and situations where you will need to send a precise, unmistakable message. A parent emailing the school principal about her child being bullied, a business owner sending a final warning to an employee, a warehouse manager ordering supplies – all require the art of clear communication.
• Show someone else what you’ve written. Accept that you may have left out stuff in your haste to get your thoughts down.
Lessons learned
• Your reader will respond better to your showing them what the issue is with some offered suggestions on how to solve it, rather than outpourings of how it has affected you emotionally.
The problem began when Lucan received a message from Raglan stating:
• trust that people will overcome entrenched hostility to one another for the common good.
• assume the receiver will have all the information you have
• get someone else to draft it
The Russians were attempting to take away the huge guns up on the hilly rise. What Raglan didn’t realise was that Lucan couldn’t see them. He was down on the flat plain and the only Russians he could see were ahead of him, massed for battle and armed with rifles but with no big guns.
By Susan Pierotti
You want me to do what?!
Cardigan could have asked for clearer orders but that meant having to swallow his pride and ask Lucan for clarity. Instead, he obeyed the orders and rode in front of his 670 men down a narrow valley flanked on three sides with enemy fire. Lucan never sent the promised horse artillery, thereby sealing the fate of 118 men, with 127 wounded and 335 horses destroyed.

We’ve all heard of the Charge of the Light Brigade. It refers to the slaughter of an English brigade in the Crimean War of the 19th century.
• If you are feeling emotional, scribble your first draft with pen and paper, then tear it up. Drink a glass of water, breathe deeply, then go to your computer and start typing.
Lord Raglan commanded the entire army. Lord Lucan had overall command of the cavalry units and the Light Brigade was commanded by Lord Cardigan. Lucan and Cardigan were brothers-in-law—and they hated each other.
In fact, why not seek out a writing professional to assist you with all your communication needs?

Let’s backtrack a bit. Russia throughout its history has sought a warm water port for its fleet and for essential supply chains, preferably one linked with the Mediterranean Sea. In the 19th century, Russia was expanding its territory across Asia and Europe while its neighbour, the Ottoman Empire in Turkey, was slowly but surely disintegrating. Russia thought to expand into the Black Sea and used the Crimean Peninsula as its diving board into warmer climes.

Did you know that the floors can and should be insulated as well? This is not an issue for more modern homes built on concrete slabs, but for homes constructed in the ’70s and ’80s built on wooden stumps, floor insulation is certainly worth considering.

With the La Niña climate pattern affecting the holiday weather across Australia this summer, we might not have as many super-hot days as usual. Nevertheless, the occasional day over thirty may see you scurrying for the air conditioner’s remote control.

While air conditioning is a blessing, it tends to fill the home with undesirable chemicals, can affect people with allergies badly and is massively expensive to run. What if there were other ways to keep you home efficiently cool?
3 Eaves
Keep them drawn during the hottest part of the day, only opening them again when the sun has shifted away from the windows. You will notice a marked decrease in heat in your home.
2 Insulation
Here are three tips for living in your home with a comfortable room temperature throughout the long summer days and nights.
The ability of insulation to control temperature in buildings, especially in the ceiling–roof space, was recognised well before the Pink Batts scandal of the government was installing the batts was to help people reduce their power bills by saving on energy consumption – a good thing.)

When you think about it, a house without eaves is really like person without eyebrows. Our eyebrows aren’t just decorative, just there to give our faces some sort of definition. They actually provide several useful functions, as do eaves. Our eyebrows protect our faces from sweat as eaves protect a home from rain. They prevent our eyes being filled with dirt as eaves prevent dirt and dust from entering our homes. (Just think of all the garden rubbish our eaves collect!)
Windows draw in heat from the sun. The best insulator for windows is double glazing or proper sealing. If that’s out of your budget or your plans for now, the next best option is triple-backed curtains. Something as simple as installing heavy curtains can make a massive difference between enjoying your space and sweltering in it. Triple-weave curtains not only look good, as they drape beautifully, but they have the ability to drop the temperature in your room during hot weather. They are made with three tightly interwoven layers, the one in the middle made of a black thread that blocks sunlight and heat.
3 Cool Tips For Your Home Over Summer
Triple-weave curtains come with other great advantages. They are mould-resistant, they act as a great fire-retardant and they filter outside noises. They are also easy to care for –just pop them in the washing machine, hang them out to dry, press them with a cold iron if necessary, then re-hang them in the room.

Does the idea of emptying everything out of your home and lifting up the carpets and every floorboard make you shudder? Why not talk with an architect about this, as they will have many ideas on how this can be accomplished with your existing flooring arrangements.
By Kathy
Eyebrows and eaves both protect our eyes (and homes) from glare and heat. In the summer months, the angle of the sun is higher and the temperatures are hotter, but the eaves prevent that light and heat from penetrating your home.
Eaves are an important home feature in the quest for cooler temperatures. If your house has narrow eaves that you wish to enlarge, you can do this after applying to your local council for permission to extend them. However, it is quicker and better to ask an architect to do that for you as they are more experienced with council applications and their authority will carry more weight.
1 Curtains and windows
Insulating one’s home contributes hugely to warmth in winter and cooling in summer, as anyone who has lived in a home without insulation knows! Insulation also prevents mould and damp from permeating your home.

operation of the Fund and provides guidance to the trustee as to the particular actions they can undertake, it is extremely important to ensure that the Trust Deed remains current and that the Trustee has the authority under the Trust Deed to act to the extent permitted by the legislation.
Keeping it up to date
A recent case, Jowill Nominees Pty Ltd v Cooper [2021] SASC 76, has highlighted the importance of ensuring that original trust deeds are kept securely, read and complied with.

• Loss of tax benefits - for example if they attempt to commence a particular pension without the power in the deed;
Therefore, if the trustee continued to deal with trust assets and administer the trust, they would effectively cause further breaches of trust, and this could lead to further sanctions. As an example, if a trustee were to make distributions, in the absence of a trust deed, this would be a clear breach of duty.
• The wrong beneficiaries receiving Death Benefits because of invalid documentation (eg BDBNs being deemed invalid etc).
For Trustees, it is important to make sure the original trust deed is kept securely and updated when new superannuation laws change; especially where those laws will have an impact on the decisions made by the trustees of the fund.
Not only should the trust deed be read and heeded, it also should be kept up to date. Given the trust deed governs the

A trustee needs to discharge its duty by ensuring that the original trust deed is kept secure, but also read; and complied with. Lastly, the trustee needs to review the trust deed to determine if the trust deed needs to be updated to allow them to perform the actions required of them.

Trustees have a duty to account to the beneficiaries of a trust. Having a trust deed in place, that has been read, as well as the terms of the deed being heeded, provides a good starting point to avoiding many of the breaches that might otherwise occur.
For a court to be satisfied the secondary evidence is suitable, the text of the missing document must be able to reproduce the trust in full (see for example, Barp Nominees Pty Ltd [2016] NSWSC 990) and there needs to be evidence to satisfy the '3 certainties of a trust', that is:
Failure of trust
Lost trust deed
By Warren
As highlighted in Jowill, one of the key duties of the trustee is to know the terms of the trust deed and keep the original signed trust instrument safe and secure. If the trust deed is lost, it is very difficult for the trustee to discharge their duties. The duty in this regard is heightened for SMSFs given the interplay of the concessional taxation regime and the legislatively mandated rules around membership and trusteeship. These risks are magnified if, as a further example, it is the trust deed of a related unit trust or limited recourse borrowing arrangement that is lost.
If a trust deed is lost and reasonable searches and inquiries had been made with all relevant persons, legal and accountancy firms and 3rd party authorities that could have been expected to hold a copy of the trust deed, without success, the trustees might be able to relay on ‘secondary evidence’ to prove the existence of a trust. However, the secondary evidence must be clear and convincing evidence not only of the existence, but also the terms of the trust.
There are numerous instances of when trustee actions have not been permitted due to an outdated trust deed. If the Trustees were to undertake such actions without the authority of the trust deed they could risk, to name a few:
Where, the deed has been lost, a trustee cannot discharge this overriding obligation and will be held to be acting in breach of trust.
Conclusion
Warren Strybosch
Secondary evidence
It is a timely reminder for all trust and SMSF advisers that the obligation to act in strict conformance with the terms of a trust deed is perhaps the most important duty of a trustee.

1. Consolidate your credit card debt into a Personal Loan or Home Loan. By consolidating your debts you will have a set term to repay the amount owing at an interest rate which is generally much lower than what your credit card costs. However this may also mean you are paying the debt back over a long term, so you need to be disciplined to ensure you repay the debt quickly. You don’t want to still be paying off this year’s Christmas presents 5 years from now. Set yourself a maximum two year term to repay the debt in full.
AFTERPAY/ZIPPAY ACCOUNTS
The most common problem we have once Christmas is over is looking at our credit card statement and wondering how it managed to get so out of control. Should you find yourself in this situation there are a number of potential solutions to help
Many people are unaware that these types of buy now/pay later options come with a credit limit, and also now appear on your credit records. Banks treat them exactly like a credit card when assessing finance applications, so minimising their use will ensure your credit score is not negatively affected. If you do get into a predicament with these types of accounts then the tips to helping with credit card debt will also apply here.
CREDIT CARD DEBT
you should avoid. If you are able to access a balance transfer deal you should cut up the card, so you are unable to use it and add to the level of debt. You can then set up a budget to repay the amount owing within the agreed term.

MORTGAGEDroscher
During the Christmas and New Year period we are focused on spending time with family, perhaps getting away for a wellearned break and preparing to put a difficult 2021 behind us. This time of year is a great time to relax and enjoy being with our loved ones, but it is also a time where a lot of us find ourselves in a difficult financial predicament due to overindulgence with spending. That’s why the festive season is a great time to review your finances and help yourself into a better position going in to 2022.
I have listed below some areas where taking the time to review your finances could have a major impact on saving you money.
Now is also a great time to review your Home Loan to make sure your lender is providing you with the most suitable loan to suit your needs. During the year we are generally so busy with life in general that reviewing what is usually our largest expense is put in the too hard basket. By taking some time now to see whether your current Home Loan is the best option you could save yourself thousands of dollars in interest and several years in time taken to repay your loan.
2. Reduce your available credit limits. Once your credit card repayment arrangements are in place reduce your available limits to ensure you cannot get yourself into this position again. By having a small limit you will be able to manage the repayments more comfortably and clear the debt without further assistance.
To avoid getting yourself into a financial predicament in the future set a realistic budget to keep a track of your spending and, most importantly, stick to it. Why most budgets fail is that we place unrealistic expectations on ourselves. By setting realistic goals we are more likely to achieve them. Being consistent and putting smaller amounts into savings on a regular basis is more effective than making larger deposits at random. Your spending habits will also be aligned to your savings goals, but don’t be too hard on yourself if you have a period where you are unable to reach your savings goals due to unexpected expenses. Things happen.

Pension Loan Scheme (PLS)
An equity release agreement involves selling a portion of the value of your home and in return receiving a lump sum or regular payments, whilst continuing to live in the home until it is sold. The fees come out of the remaining equity left in the home which, overtime, gradually reduces your remaining equity owned by you.
Whilst there are a few options available to Australians to unlock some of their wealth from their home in retirement, the Pension Loan Scheme, is managed by the Australian Government, and provides greater certainty for retirees when needing additional funds in retirement.

Some of the other strategies available to retirees to unlock home equity:
The Pension Loan Scheme (PLS) is one of few home equity release strategies available to homeowners to access some of their equity whilst continuing to live in it.
When the house is sold (usually at death), the compounding Interest on the loan and the full amount (plus interest and fees) is repaid. This can often result in nothing being left to pass on to the estate. Prior to 2012, a reverse mortgage could have left the estate owing money to the lender, however, since 2012, negative equity protection was introduced, preventing a borrower owing the lender more than the value of their home.

The annual interest rate charged under the Scheme will also reduce from 4.5% to 3.95% from 1 January 2022.
Currently, the only option available under this Scheme is regular fortnightly payments however the Government proposed in the 2021 Federal Budget that from 1 July 2022, the Scheme will be extended to allow up to 50% of the maximum annual rate of pension to be received as a lump sum (limited to two lump sum payments in 12 months). The legislation to implement this change is currently sitting in the House of Representatives and is not yet law.
Reverse Mortgage
The PLS is a type of reverse mortgage administered by the government. It enables people of pension age, who meet certain criteria, to access some of their equity in their property. The payments are made fortnightly and usually top up the age pension or other forms of retirement income. It is available to Australian property owners of pension age, irrespective of whether they receive income support from the

a lump sum for that portion of the home. The draw back here is that the provider will provide a lesser amount then what the actual value of the portion is worth e.g., if the house was valued at $1M and you were giving away 20%, the provider may only give you between $100k and $150k for that portion you have sold to them. The benefit is that there is no interest charged; the provider simply takes their portion value at time of sale.

A reverse mortgage allows a person to borrow money in the form of an income stream, line of credit, lump sum, or combination, using their home equity as security for the loan. The most you can initially borrow is between 20-25% of the value of the home.
When the house is sold, the amount you borrowed plus the total amount of fees owing to the provider would be paid back to them from the sale proceeds. A benefit of these types of equity release schemes is that the proportion you still own can grow in value until the home is sold. Each party, you and the provider gain from the growth of the home until the sale.

With Father’s Day this month, it’s a great time to talk about men’s health. We’ll take a look at two conditions: teenage acne and Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). These are both caused (at varying degrees) by male hormone imbalance. Androgens are a group of hormones of which testosterone (the predominant male reproductive hormone) is the most common. Testosterone levels increase for young men in their late teens, and the excess androgens contribute to acne. The sebaceous glands which secrete oil onto the skin, produce androgens, along with other glands, and in excess are converted to a hormone called dihydrotestosterone which promotes acne. Research has found herbs such as Serenoa repens (Saw palmetto) effective in treating hormonal acne, especially when combined with other androgen regulating herbs is. As a naturopath, I would also address elimination of waste products, inflammation, the liver (as detailed below) and any other factors contributing to the acne.

teenage acne, excess androgens are a major culprit in contributing to hyperproliferation of prostate tissue.
To improve liver function:
Recreational lifestyle activities which reduce stress can also be helpful as chronic stress increases inflammation, leading to many disease states. Exercise can help by increasing blood flow and also reducing stress.
Naturopathic treatment of hormonal imbalance often includes strengthening and detoxifying the liver. The liver is where hormones are metabolised, are transformed into different forms, and excess hormones are removed from circulation. If the liver is not functioning well, this process will be impaired. Prescription drugs, alcohol, exposure to toxins, and poor diet all contribute to reduced liver function. Herbal medicine is highly effective in improving the liver, but below

This enlargement of the prostate gland also leads to BPH and prostate cancer. Once again Saw palmetto is an important herb in regulating androgen levels, and additional benefits have been found when used in combination with Urtica dioica (stinging nettle).

• Eat bitter foods such as roquette (rocket), and sour foods such as fresh lemon juice.
Due to hyperproliferation (excess growth) of prostate tissue, the enlargement of the prostate gland obstructs urinary flow, resulting in poor urinary flow, increased urgency, and

BPH is increasingly common in men as they age and is estimated to be present in 70% of men over the age of 70.

latch correctly, a baby must be able to position at the breast comfortably. If a baby has restricted movement in their neck from torticollis, there will usually be challenges for baby to turn into the breast on one side and this will manifest as difficulty latching and/or sustaining a latch. Baby may have difficulty latching onto the breast altogether, they may slip on and off repeatedly, they may come off early and cry, or they may tire quickly and stop before they have had a full feed. Baby often has extra difficulty regulating their state, quickly becoming unsettled and overwhelmed at the breast, and unable to relax enough to feed well.
The cause of congenital muscular torticollis is usually due to the way the baby was positioned in utero. When a developing foetus grows in a restricted position within the confines of the uterus, their head can be abnormally tilted to one side. This persistent position impacts the way the SCM muscle grows and develops and then after birth the altered tone of the muscle affects its function and we see the characteristic postural changes.
Sometimes a baby’s head tilt is not very noticeable at birth, and it is not until the baby reaches a few weeks or even months of age that a caregiver may begin to notice it. However, it can be a missed cause for early breastfeeding Indifficulties.orderto

As an osteopath, I usually provide gentle hands-on treatment to massage and relax the tight SCM muscle. I also advise parents on different home-based strategies, such as the best positions to hold baby in while breastfeeding, ways to gently and safely stretch the affected side of the neck and how to use tummy time to effectively assist in the management of this condition. Most babies go on to recover and to breastfeed well.
This is one reason I always assess a baby’s neck during a lactation consultation, and especially if mum describes a history of difficulty with latching. It is also why I often want to observe and assess a breastfeed when

In my private osteopathic and lactation consulting practice I see quite a number of babies who have a persistent head tilt or turn. This condition is called torticollis (latin for “twisted neck”) and most of these cases are what we call congenital muscular torticollis. This means the baby was born with it and its origin is muscular.
When the sternocleidomastoid (SCM) muscle in the side of the neck is shortened, contracted or tight, it produces a characteristic tilt of the head to the affected side as well as a turn away from that side. In some babies, the head tilt component is more noticeable and in others it is the turn. The condition makes it difficult and uncomfortable for the baby to hold their head straight or to turn it the other way.

There still exists a large Eucalypt tree with a branch that was used for a swing by the six Findlay children.

Well 2021 is finally behind us, hopefully 2022 can only bring us bigger and better things. For many people, January is the perfect time for reflection on the year that was, and goal setting for the future. Setting yourself up for success this year shouldn’t be hard or overwhelming. Here are some simple ideas to get started.
When you have downtime in your business, use it to invest in yourself. This is so important and one thing that constantly gets overlooked by business owners. With the online world we
live in, “training” is not what it used to be, you no longer need to set aside days and pay big dollars for facilitated training sessions onsite. There is plenty of free training and upskilling out there- start by looking on LinkedIn for free courses, and there are also plenty of paid online courses for whatever niche your business is in. Check out the reviews to make sure they seem suitable and go and learn new skills. Choose courses or training that interest you and that will assist you in building your business.

Ask around, I think you would be surprised at how many business owners outsource many of their tasks, leaving them more time to do what they love- whether it is building their business or spending more time with loved ones.
Use downtime for training

Driving your club forward
Without one you could be seen as a rudderless ship however with a business plan you will be in the position to move your club forward.
What is our product?
And do we have a business plan? Running your Club as a business is the only way to go. A business plan will show you how you plan to grow your sporting club in the coming years.
The plan should look at reviewing your club’s revenue streams and then look at what you need to do to increase revenue,
But don’t think you can do it alone…get your board involved, get your members involved – work collectively as a club and you will finish up with a business plan that has been well planned, endorsed by your members and implemented.

If the answer is NO then it is time for a re-think and most definitely the time your club needs to develop a business plan.
We are a Sporting Club

Mr. and Mrs. Pump had four daughters and one son, Wilfred, who now lives with his wife and family next door to the old farmhouse. Mr. Pump was President of the Heathmont Railway League which fought a stiff battle for the station at Heathmont. Hermann Frederick Pump, one of Ringwood's early settlers, died on 1st January 1954, in Heathmont, Victoria, at the age of 79. Up to the day of his death he had seemed to be in his normal health, and had enjoyed a family reunion at Christmas, with twenty-three children — grand-children and great-grandchildren—sitting round the table for Christmas dinner. Mr. Pump was a well-known Ringwood personality. His close associates spoke of him as a wonderful man, always ready to help others, and as staunch a friend as one could wish to find.

In 1890, 16-year-old Hermann Pump sailed from Denmark to Australia. After a voyage of three months he had his first glimpse of the coastline of the land where he was to spend the rest of his life. For a few years he worked on an orchard at Doncaster. Then he came seeking his own land at Ringwood. In 1896 he bought 50 high-timbered acres in Canterbury Road, which had to be grubbed foot by foot before fruit trees could be planted. "Why choose a site with such tall treesgiving yourself a lot of hard work, aren't you?" said a friend. But young Hermann Pump answered, that land which grew high timber was good land, and he was prepared to do the work and the necessary waiting for the orchard to come to

he married Louise Zerbe, of Doncaster, daughter of one of the early German settlers, and brought her to the house in Canterbury Road where they were to rear a family and live out their allotted span. With the orchard planted he had to wait for it to grow and bear. In the meantime he earned money carting wood over the rough bush tracks. As the children grew and the orchard progressed, there was plenty of hard work. His son, Wilfred, remembers going off to market with his father in the wagon, starting perhaps about 9.30 in the evening, arriving about 3 a.m. and getting home in the early morning, after which his father would start on another day's work.

ASIC is serious about stopping influencers posting ‘general advice’ via social media in relation to financial products and services. Stating you are providing the advice under the guise of ‘general advice’ or that you are doing so as a ‘financial counsellor’ will also not suffice. If you do not hold the appropriate financial planning qualifications and/ or have an Australian Financial Services Licence, then you should not be providing this type of advice. Well, the answer is it depends on the list of conditions that are included in the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) of the insurance provider who your Trauma Cover is with, but commonly they cover conditions such as heart attack, stroke, heart disease, cancer, or kidney failure. The specific conditions covered are outlined by the individual insurer you should read the PDS carefully before agreeing to the cover to understand what conditions you would be covered for.
Due to legislation changes that came into effect on 1 July 2014 you are no longer able to take out trauma insurance through your superannuation fund.

Most people have heard of Life (or Death) Insurance cover, and many have heard of the Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) cover or Income protection cover, however frequently people have not really heard of or don’t know too much about the other type of personal risk insurance known as Trauma Cover.
What am I covered for under a Trauma policy?
The answer again is it depends, a conversation with a qualified financial planner can help you ascertain how much trauma cover is right for you depending on your circumstances.
How much does trauma cover cost?
What are the different types of trauma policy payment structures?
I am yet to come across a client who have had a claim paid out under trauma policy who has said I wish I didn’t have this cover.
