King Fausto and the Heavy Crown (Beginners, Fiction)

Synopsis Every morning, King Fausto wakes up with a bad headache that makes him suffer and put him in a bad mood. He would love to take off his heavy gold crown covered with precious stones from his head, but his boring advisor does not let him! He says that the kings to be important must have a very heavy crown. Full of many precious jewels. However, thanks to the wisdom of his daughter, Princess Velia, the king will regain happiness, and above all the love of his dearest subjects. Velia in fact suggests the King to take off his crown and to fulfill the wishes of his children subjects. Without the heavy crown the King will be able to tell fairy tales to Princess Velia every night. Because the head does not hurt anymore. And the counselor? He was counselled not to be seen again in the reign of King Fausto and his daughter Velia for many many years to come…

Excerpt "Why don’t you wear a lighter crown?” Velia asked. “It sounds like a nice idea. I wonder if my counselor agrees.” “No way!” The little man snapped. “A king is a king when he wears a crown. And the more the crown is heavier, the more important is the king.”
