When I was small I had a mountain‌
One day I asked my father to buy me a Playstation‌
“Daddy! I want a Playztation.”
“A Play-what?”
Back then my father was not really into technologic toys.
“You don’t know what a Playztation iz?”
“Everybody has one of those…”
“Wouldn’t you prefer something nobody had?”
“Like a whole mountain just for you!”
I remember thinking, what on Earth could you do with a mountain?
”There are lots of things you can do with a mountain.”
You can walk around it;
you can claim it;
you can climb it;
you can camp on it…
You can climb on the trees there‌
…you can play with the mountain animals…
…for example: hide-and-seek…
‌ or even race them!
I accepted. One day we went to see it‌
“What’z that?”
My Dad told me you shouldn’t take a lot of things with you…
I swam across deep lakes‌
…and terrible pits…
…and I had many other obstacles to overcome.
But I didn’t forget to bring my Dad with me.
We stopped halfway to have a snack and a rest.
And then we went on.
Finally, we arrived there.
And it was
HUGE!!
We started climbing it‌
My Dad always took good care of me.
In my mountain there were lots of incredible things‌
“Look! A dinozaur’z egg!!”
Later I would think it was only a rock‌ ...but my father convinced me that it really was a dinosaur’s egg.
At last we reached the summit.
‌from it you could see the whole World!!
Throughout the years I have kept coming back to my mountain‌
But as time passed and I grew bigger‌
‌my mountain has somehow grown smaller.
Or maybe it is my imagination that has shrunk overtime!
