DANIELA PALUMBO, Italy - Author
Daniela Palumbo journalist, author of literature for children was born in Rome in 1965 but lives now in Milan. She began publishing children's books in 1998 with a text on disability entitled My best friend, Edizioni Paoline Editoriale Libri. The book had the recognition of the critics of the Prize Cento and was finalist to the Price Battello a Vapore by Piemme Edizioni. In 2010 Daniela won the Price Battello a Vapore, Piemme with the book: The Auschwitz Suitcases, now at its fifth edition. Her books have been licenced and translated in the following countries: China, Korea, Poland, Greece, Spain (in Catalan, Basque and Castilian languages) Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Peru.
