Charming
Set within the friendly town of Earlsdon just a short walk from Coventry City Centre, Number 21 Belvedere Road has played home to Mr and Mrs Hudson along with their three children and Jack Russell, Max for the past 22 years.
Situated in one of the most popular areas of Coventry is a fine example of a stunning five bedroom detached family home. Situated only one mile from the Coventry Train Station and the City Centre and having five bedrooms two with ensuite, two formal reception rooms and a stunning extended breakfast kitchen makes it the perfect home for any working family.
Ground Floor The property is entered through a porch with ceramic tiled flooring and then into an entrance hall which has access to the under-stairs storage cupboard. Downstairs there is also WC, two formal reception rooms and a fully fitted and extended kitchen overlooking the rear garden.
Spacious
First Floor Upstairs there are four bedrooms, the master has an ensuite and a main family bathroom and on the second floor there is a further bedroom with its own ensuite.
The property is large and spacious, the ideal home for a family to grow up in. “We were initially impressed by the size and location of the property,” says Mrs Hudson, “There is the advantage of a spacious loft conversion with feature beams, which was put in by the previous owner – a well known local architect. When the children were little we had an Au Pair living with us and there was plenty of space for my husband to work from home. It’s a very versatile property.”
Landscaped
Outside Outside the garden can be viewed from the balcony in the main bedroom. It has been beautifully landscaped, it has a patio area and then a decked area making full use of the sun in the summer. All around the borders there are a selection of mature shrubs and bushes complimenting this fantastic garden
The property is appealing all year round; the owners have enjoyed beautiful summers in the walled gardens and festive fun in the comfortable reception rooms. “I love the kitchen,” describes Mrs Hudson, “It gets the sun most of the day and it is always a cheerful place to be. I also like the front lounge as it is very cosy in the winter and with a real fire in the period fireplace it makes Christmas extra special.” The kitchen/dining area is bright and airy and has been the heart of the home where the family congregate on a day to day basis. It has provided an excellent space for parties and entertaining. “In the summer living outside is easy,” she says of the mature, secure gardens. With direct access to the kitchen, the patio is generally sheltered creating the ideal haven for sitting outside even on windy days. “There are several locations in the garden to sit and enjoy the sun all through the day. The garden is a good size for the children to play in and it is totally secure with brick walls all around. The garden is quite private and has an abundance of shrubs and flowers that provide lots of colour to look out on to.”
Being within walking distance of the city centre, the property is conveniently located for transport links. With rail services to London Euston running at regular intervals, one can be in the capital in under an hour. “Many people in this locality work in Birmingham or London,” explains Mrs Hudson, “The great thing about living here is access to everything. It is possible to reach good local schools, the train station and city centre on foot.” Earlsdon high street itself has several restaurants and shops.
