BRACKLEY Historically a market town based on the wool and lace trade, Brackley lies on the Oxfordshire Northamptonshire border, 19 miles from Oxford and 22 miles from Northampton. The town dates back as far as the 11th Century and was built on the intersecting trade routes between London, Birmingham and the English Midlands, as well as between the University Cities of Cambridge and Oxford. Brackley has connections with Formula 1 as it is close to Silverstone and home to the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team. BANBURY Lying on the banks of the River Cherwell, Banbury is a market town and civil parish in North Oxfordshire. Ideally situated, it is 64 miles (103 km) North West of London, 38 miles (61 km) South East of Birmingham, and 21 miles (34 km) from the county town of Oxford.
