Coughton holds a place in history for its roles in both the Throckmorton Plot of 1583 to murder Queen Elizabeth I of England, and the Gunpowder Plot of 1605, as some of the Gunpowder conspirators rode directly there after its discovery. As well as Coughton, there are many beautiful country houses and National Trust properties such as Ragley Hall within the vicinity and the property is also ideally situated for a variety of services both locally and nationally. “The motorway network is within easy reach from here.
