The bungalow
School Road | Hanbury | WR9 7EA
It is not every day you get the luxury of a nine hole golf course on your property.
The Bungalow sits in a landscape of six acres of spectacular parkland and beautifully manicured grounds including a private nine hole golf course. Situated on the outskirts of the prestigious hamlet of Hanbury, is a perfect family home and an ideal development opportunity with plenty of scope for a new owner to put their stamp on the place. “The course is approved by the Golf Federation and was granted official permission for use as a private golf course in 1998 and has been the source of entertainment for three generations of the family and their guests as well as being featured on local TV and Radio
“My parents always loved the sitting room,” comments David, “It is a large space and being south facing enjoys plenty of sun light. As they got older they would spend more time in the study, looking out of the windows at the lovely views of the garden.” (David, Owner)
Surprisingly spacious, with four bedrooms, one study, two reception rooms and a large entrance hall. The Bungalow was built in the 1960s by the Mayor of Droitwich and was later owned by an army major before being purchased by Isabel and Ron in 1977. The property is situated between the grounds of the National Trust Property, Hanbury Hall and Garden and Cheatau Impney.
Enjoy six acres with your own private nine hole golf course with breath taking views over the rolling countryside. The property also has separate access from the Salt Way, where originally the land was used as a paddock for ponies. As well as the golf course, there is a large pond, once home to Koi Carp. Also, water and electricity are accessible in various locations along the fairway. “There are plenty of mature trees including a beautiful Weeping Willow.
