This one cuts pretty deep but when we nominate the herd to Red Round Up we know it will be the very top that are selected and that’s the way it should be. We were fortunate enough to be a part of the 2020 SAA pasture tour and many that attended will remember Fayette 75H in the ET pen at side of her recip dam. Her sire C-Bar Genesis A31 was Denver Stock Show Reserve Grand Champion bull while I was there in 2016. I liked him quite a bit so when the opportunity to acquire embryos by this outcross to Canada sire and Fayette 40Y I did not hesitate to gathered them. Fayette 40Y is dam to the $57,500 Red Kodiak 3A that we all know makes outstanding females. Her service sire JJL Legend is a proven calving ease sire we used here on a group of heifers last year. Exposed to Red JJL Legend 83G from April 15 to July 29, 2021. Preg checked July 30, 2020 to be 70 to 80 days along. Expect a February calf.
