New Delhi: High drama ensued at the Jamia Millia Islamia university in the national capital over the controversial BBC documentary on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Several students have been detained for allegedly creating ruckus outside the campus ahead of the screening.

Jaipur: The Centre has approved 162 new PG seats in two medical colleges of Rajasthan. The result of the better operation of the medical college opened by the government under RajMES is that 156 PG seats have been approved by GoI for the govt medical College of Pali. This is for 1st time in State that PG seats have been approved in any college run under RajMES. Health minister Parsadi Lal Meena said that 12 medical colleges have been started so far and 5 new medical colleges are ready. He said with increase in PG seats in State, public will get the benefit of specialist medical services. For this, a provision of over ` 193 crore has been made by State and Centre.
AIR INDIA AMENDS EXISTING IN-FLIGHT LIQUOR POLICY
New Delhi: Air India has modified its in-flight alcohol service policy wherein cabin crew have beentold to tactfully refuse further serving of alcohol if needed. In new policy, ‘Alcoholic’ beverages must be served in an appropriate manner.
RELEASE ORDER OF ASHISH NOT RECEIVED: JAIL SUPERINTENDENT
Lakhimpur: SC granted an 8-week interim bail to Ashish Mishra and directed him to leave UP within one week.
‘Mishra’s release order has not yet been received and hence he will not be released on Wednesday,’ said Jail Superintendent VK Mishra.
