Jaipur: The Anti Corruption Bureau on Wednesday conducted searches at the premises of an official of agriculture department in Dungarpur.

On the information of the Intelligence Unit of ACB, the search operation was conducted at four different places located in Jaipur City, Chittorgarh and Dungarpur belonging to the Deputy Director of Agriculture departmentDungarpur Ajay Singh Shekhawat.

The ACB also registered a case of disproportionate assets against him. In Chittorgarh, his house and farmhouse were searched. Ajay Singh Shekhawat’s wife was also present at the farmhouse. She is also an accused. After the verification of the complaint, a case was registered against Shekhawat and his wife for having disproportionate assets.

Separate teams were formed and the teams conducted searches at four locations in Jaipur, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur.

Acb Arrests Revenue Employee For Accepting Bribe In Sawai Madhopur

Sawai Madhopur: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday arrested a Tehsildar Revenue clerk (Kanoongo) while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000. Police informed that Om Prakash, posted as Additional Officer Kanoongo in Chauth Ka Barwara tehsil, was held red-handed with the bribe. “The complaint was filed by Ramji Lal, a resident of Mahapura. The accused was demanding a bribe of Rs 5,000 to rectify the revenue record despite it was already mentioned in the mutation. The complaint was verified two days ago and a trap was laid on Wednesday afternoon.

HEARING IN ACB’S PLEA FOR RECORDING DIVYA’S VOICE ON FEBRUARY 2

Ajmer: AdSP Divya Mittal, arrested in the case of demanding bribe, was produced in the court on Wednesday. On January 20, ACB applied in court for a voice sample test. The hearing for it was to be made. However, Divya’s lawyer Pritam Singh Soni asked for more time in the court, hence now the hearing will be held on Feb 2. Defence advocate Pritam Soni said that the ACB has recorded the voice in the bribery case. An application was filed in court to match that voice record. This application was to be heard and Divya was introduced for this. However, time was sought to peruse the file. The court has given the date of Feb 2. It is to be noted that Divya Mittal is in jail till 3 February.
