Jodhpur: The threeday Rajasthan International Expo began at the expo ground in Boranada, Jodhpur on Monday.
Rajasthan Cricket Association President Vaibhav Gehlot and Rajsico Chairman Rajeev Arora inaugurated the expo while Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot formally inaugurated the expo.
Gupta were present on the occasion. Vaibhav Gehlot and Rajeev Arora visited the stalls and took information about the products displayed by domestic & foreign participants at the expo.
“The expo is being organised in Jodhpur so that it gets international recognition”, Arora said, adding that it is the CM’s vision to organise such an expo to promote Jodhpur.
Additional Charge Director General ACB, Hemant Priyadarshi said that the complainant filed a complaint to the
Nagaur unit of ACB. Patwari Meghwal, posted in Halka Khatu Kalan, Tehsil Jayal, demanded a bribe of Rs 2.25 lakh from the complainant in lieu of opening the nomination of his purchased land. After this, under the supervision of Deputy Inspector General ACB, the trap action was conducted. The interrogation is on & further probe will be started by registering a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
7th body recovered from Chambal, search ops stop

Karauli: In the case of the drowning of seven devotees in the Chambal river, the seventh dead body of a youth who drowned in the accident has been discovered.
The deceased is identified as Luv-Kush, a resident of Chilavad, Madhya Pradesh.
After the recovery of all the dead bodies, now the search operation has been stopped.
Earlier, 17 devotees drowned while coming to Kaila Devi from Chilavad, Madhya Pradesh.
After the incident, 10 devotees were evacuated, safely, while seven devotees died. The accident took place in the Chambal river near Jagadarpura in the Mandrayal area.
