Indoor | outdoor Versatile textiles which can also be used outdoors
Fischbacher 1819’s range of indoor/outdoor fabrics are suitable for the use of upholstery and drapery. The special fabrics boast an especially high level of lightfastness which is achieved by using a special yarn-dyeing technology allowing the fabrics to be used even in places with very high light-exposure levels, such as gardens, balconies, conservatories or particularly bright rooms.
Most of our indoor/outdoor fabrics are also resistant to sea water and chlorinated water, which makes them suitable for use by pools or on boats. This collection is additionally treated with a special finish to make them stain-resistant, durable and easy to clean.
Fischbacher 1819’s indoor/outdoor fabrics are generally made from solution-dyed yarn which means that the yarn is fully dyed throughout, not just on the outside. This full dyeing guarantees long-lasting light resistance, which means that our fabric will not bleach in the sun. (Prints are not solution-dyed; they are printed with light-fast dyes on white fabric).
Our ARGENTARIO collection goes one step further, it consists of six matching upholstery fabrics made from 100% recyclable polypropylene fibers. They are flame-retardant and can be washed using mild detergent at temperatures up to 30° C. They are fast-drying, crease-resistant, heat-regulating, breathable, allergen-free and repel both dirt and odors. The fabrics are versatile and suitable for a wide range of applications, including healthcare, commercial and private settings, nautical environments, hotels and spas.
We are especially proud of the newest addition to our indoor/outdoor range. The CAPRI collection is crafted from hemp and redefines indoor/outdoor spaces with sustainable luxury. The natural beauty and durability of hemp, a renewable and eco-friendly material that offers exceptional resilience and comfort speaks for itself. Hemp fabrics are naturally resistant to atmospheric agents and UV fading as well as being mould-resistant and antibacterial. Whether you’re lounging on a sofa, or relaxing in a lounge chair upholstered with our CAPRI fabrics, you will feel the difference immediately. The cool and soft handle of the range are in a class of their own.

The CAPRI FLORA jacquard pattern is a multi-coloured weave of stylised foliage inspired by the leaves that cluster in the gardens under Capri’s colonnades. The interweaving of several wefts with the warp creates tonality across the pattern with each leaf a different colour.

A large-scale interpretation of the hand knotted fishing nets seen at the Marina Grande embodies the jacquard CAPRI MARINA. The interweaving of the design’s coloured wefts with black warp threads creates an almost three-dimensional effect and depth, particularly noticeable as the pattern intertwines and the typical knot of a fishing net can be seen.

BENU Talent Recycled FR 14619
70% of the yarns used for BENU TALENT RECYCLED FR are obtained from recycled post-consumer PET bottles. The high-quality recycled product is weather-resistant and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The flame-retardant velvet is woven with a very short pile, which gives its colours a special luminosity and vibrancy. Due to its high lightfastness, mould and mildew resistance as well as chlorine and saltwater resistance, BENU TALENT RECYCLED FR also works as a great outdoor upholstery or drapery fabric.

The ARGENTARIO Indoor-Outdoor collection consists of six matching upholstery fabrics made from FR and 100% recyclable polypropylene fibres. They can be washed at up to 30° C.
