SHERENE MELINDA

HERENE MELINDA is a Londonbased designer handbag brand with a unique, South African inspired style. Their current collection of luxurious handbags each feature authentic, vibrant, springbok hair-on-hide and the finest quality Italian leathers both inside and out. The story of this brand began over two years ago when owner and creative director Sherene Robson made the move from South Africa to Hadley Wood following the sale of her successful microbrewery business Robson’s Beer. Sherene was inspired by the idea when she first saw and fell in love with the springbok hair-on-hide and was adamant that the sustainably sourced material would fill a space in the London fashion scene. Sherene had by this point spent the majority of her adult life in London, working in a corporate environment.
20 JUNE 2015
She found that this time around, her priorities in London had changed and she was now faced with juggling her time between a busy and demanding work life and her two young girls. Motivated by the desire to use her creative skills and achieve a flexible working schedule that offered more time with her children, she made the decision to start a business for the second time. Sherene knew that her business acumen would not be enough to see the brand idea through. There is maths, science, art and technology behind creating and designing a handbag; it is a process that requires time and skill. For this reason she went back to
school to learn important design and construction techniques and vital lessons that would later shape her beautiful handbags. Sherene worked on developing a range of handbags that would appeal to the British market. Initially this was a collection of three styles; the crossbody bag, the clutch bag and the tote bag. This collection later became four with the addition of the brand’s latest style, the Haupt Bag. These one-of-a-kind handbags were all designed to combine the

The versatility of SHERENE MELINDA’s handbags can also be seen in their latest style, the Haupt Bag brand’s South African heritage with the promise that they are as functional as they are stylish. Motivated by the issues the designer experienced in leading a busy life, she and the brand are passionate about creating functional handbags. The earliest style, the clutch bag, was purposely oversized to accommodate a tablet or even a small laptop. The crossbody bag features a strap that is fully adjustable and extremely comfortable, even when carrying heavier items. The tote bag has an inside strap which can be opened or closed to change the shape of the bag and hold bigger or smaller items depending on the wearer’s needs. The versatility of SHERENE MELINDA’s handbags can also be seen in their latest style, the Haupt Bag, which has two detachable straps. One is made with high quality silver coloured chain and the other with leather. The straps can either be attached together or attached separately, offering a wide range of choice in how the bag can be worn. The functional elements of SHERENE MELINDA’s bags mean they are perfect for the daytime; either as a work handbag, a shopping accessory or even a travel essential. They have combined this practicality with the use of stunning materials such as springbok hair-onhide and Italian leather; offering customers something truly THE DETAILS You can follow SHERENE MELINDA on social media (@sherenemelinda) or visit the website at www.sherenemelinda.co.uk where all handbags are available for purchase online with delivery throughout the UK. ••••• www.sherenemelinda.co.uk shop@sherenemelinda.co.uk 0845 299 3845 ••••• Visit our website and enter our summertime competition to win a handbag.

Hertfordshire’s leading destination for buying art
Investing in Art Celebrating a superb exhibition by Hertfordshire’s leading art destination Gallery Rouge of stunning works from supremely talented artists, both past and future.
G
allery Rouge celebrated their fifth annual exhibition of works from esteemed 20th Century Master artists in style. Clients have become accustomed to the care and attention the gallery places in sourcing rare and seldom seen works, and this year was no exception! Such is the anticipation of this event, the attendance was understandably overwhelming.
This year’s event though marked a slight departure from previous years. With the recent announcement of the record sale of Picasso’s ‘Les femmes D’Alger’ for $179m USD, attention was concentrated around ‘who could be the potential master of the future’? Crystal ball gazing is an elusive pursuit, but certain principles remain firm, which led to the shortlisting of artists by Gallery Rouge for their exhibition;
Execution
Paramount to any painting is the deft and considered application of the artist. In the works of both JM Reyes and Marc Esteve one is in awe of the delicate yet precise application of their strokes. By comparison, the loose yet intelligent attention of Hessam Abrishami captures energy and flow. Works which captivate the mind will sustain longevity, developing the integrity of the artist for years to come.
Scarcity
It is a common stated fact that objects which are rare command greater value. But it’s important to note that scarcity without quality is meaningless. Whilst Picasso was considered a prolific painter, creating an estimated 50,000 pieces in his 70 year painting lifetime, respect for his work is universal Kal Gajoum – ‘St Paul’s Cathedral’ £32,000

and exceptional. When looking towards modern day painters consider their output careful. Those who focus on deliberate and intentional works around a theme within a narrowband structure will stand you in good stead. For example, consider the works of Kal Gajoum – this highly talented Canada based artist only creates a handful of original works for exhibitions, of which he may only hold three a year around the world.
Pedigree
Securing the accolades of one’s peers or contemporaries is very hard to achieve. Impartial recognition within the art world is often provided by the awarding of commissions or the distinction of significant events. Look for noteworthy positions e.g. Presidents of credible institutions like the Society of Oil Painters.
Principles of Investment
‘Only buy what you love’ – It is important to accept that investing is a long term strategy, fraught with

market ups and downs. Whilst a work is in your possession it’s critical that you enjoy the piece whilst in your custodianship. Don’t buy a painting because a salesperson tells you it will be worth more in the future; use your intellect and judgement to see past the sales patter. Only work with a reputable gallery which acts not as a primary gallery (sells you work) but as a dealer (buys and sells works). This will ensure that when the time is right to sell, the gallery has a vested interest in working with you to realise any gains.

ertfordshire’s leading art gallery, Gallery 1066 presents Mr Kuu – the enigma of the art world. Some say that Kuu is the alter ego of an infamous fashion photographer, while others speculate that he is a well-known portrait painter. Either way Mr Kuu’s passion is to encapsulate the minutia of life whilst exploring the larger issues of life and love. His photographs of vivid colour and punchy compositions expose us to stories he has captured with the help from his miniature muses and this big wide world. These stories are inspired by everyday challenges and emotional obstacles. “I look for the ordinary and focus in on it in such detail that it’s importance is magnified and it starts to become extraordinary.” His beautiful photographs are highly collectable statement pieces and are available as limited editions and deluxe dye-sublimation editions, On the Jetty by Sherree Valentine Daines please do contact the gallery to find out more about his ‘extraordinary’ work. And whilst we eagerly await the new James Bond film ‘Spectre’ we celebrate our outstanding emerging artist Krystian Pajor, a young talent who is making waves in the art world. This outstanding portrait artist at the tender age of only 21 captures the heart and soul of his subjects with haunting realism, whilst still keeping a painterly style to his work. What’s the secret to good Botox?
R
iverbanks Clinic first opened its doors in September 2008, when its founder Dr Ravi Jain decided to bring a state of the art and ethical aesthetic practice to Harpenden. Since then, the medical practice has won Best Clinic in the UK 3 times over 5 years, with other awards for Best Business and Best Customer Service. If you say to Dr Jain that he raised the bar in medical aesthetics he would humbly shy away, but it is true. Up until Riverbanks, medical aesthetics was carried out in the back of hairdressers or by other practitioners stating to be ‘medically qualified’ misleading the public into thinking that they were fully qualified doctors. At Riverbanks, we now have a team of medical aesthetic physicians and skin therapists who are experienced at the latest and most effective treatments to help people with a wide variety of skin complaints and also aesthetic conditions. Let us explain who’s who at Riverbanks, Hertfordshire’s best kept secret.
Dr Ravi Jain
Dr Jain is a fully qualified GP and before Riverbanks, he was a full-time partner at a busy Luton GP Practice. He was trained at The Royal London Hospital and lives in Ashridge with his wife and two daughters who go to school in Harpenden & St. Albans. His interest in aesthetics extends to highly advanced injectable techniques using botulinum toxin (aka BOTOX) and dermal fillers such as Restylane and Emervel for natural looking results. Dr Jain believes that by treating the
At Riverbanks, only experienced aesthetic doctors provide skilled treatments to our patients. cause of many signs of ageing and not just the obvious lines and wrinkles, leads to a more natural appearance and keeps your treatments secret! Dr Jain’s skills are incredibly sought after and he regularly teaches plastic surgeons, dermatologists, aesthetic doctors, dentists and nurses all over the world. In fact, just this year he has taught in Singapore, Dubai, Malaysia, South Korea, Germany, Sweden and France with more trips planned later this year. Dr Jain is also recognised internationally for his expertise in body contouring with the VASER Lipo system, creating shapely bodies using liposuction. He has been invited to various faculties to contribute his expertise to plastic surgeons all over the world.
Dr Loredana Nigro
Dr Nigro is of Italian origin and recently moved from Johannesburg to work with Dr Jain! Immediately upon meeting Dr Jain, It became clear to Lori that their clinical approaches were well 52 JUNE 2015
aligned and complementary. Lori is thrilled to be involved in growing Riverbanks’ excellent facilities by expansion of the London practice. Her special areas of interest include management and treatment of autoimmunity and hormonal imbalances to ensure that each patient’s natural ability to rejuvenate is working – helping to achieve better results for specific treatments from laser resurfacing to fat freezing. Dr Lori is also becoming famous for her CO2 laser facial rejuvenation treatments, having pioneered a recovery protocol which allows for relatively little downtime and dramatic results. -
Dr Sangita Singh
Sangita graduated from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospital in 2003 after which time she spent several years practising Accident and Emergency medicine. Since developing an interest in aesthetics, Sangita has concentrated on investing her time and effort in training in the art of aesthetic medicine. As well as being mentored by very well established clinicians, she has also completed her PGCert in Aesthetic Medicine from Barts and The London School of Medicine and is continuing to complete her Masters degree in this speciality. Sangita has been working as an aesthetic doctor since 2011 and has a keen interest in skin rejuvenation and the use of botulinum toxin and dermal fillers to achieve completely natural looking results.
Why choose one of our doctors?
We all strongly believe that well applied aesthetics should not be obvious and should almost be INVISIBLE! Our patients don’t want to look 10 years younger, but want to look very well for their age. We believe in PRO-AGING and not ANTI-AGING as, lets face it, who wants to go through those hormonal years all over again?! If you would like to receive a comprehensive consultation and advice and potential treatment, then you should book in with one of our specialist aesthetic doctors. They will perform a Harmony consultation for you, making sure that your concerns are central to the whole process.

hen we go abroad one of the essential items we always pack in our case is sunscreen, but how many of us wear sunscreen when we are exposed to the English sun? With increasing numbers of people being diagnosed with skin cancers Spire Harpenden Hospital is dedicated to raising awareness of the dangers of sun exposure by sharing Karen’s experience who has been diagnosed with skin cancer. “The first sign was a mole on my leg had changed. It had got bigger, darkened in colour and had become raised.” Like many people Karen mentally added this to her to do list and delayed getting it checked out. When she went for a Wellness check the GP recommended that
My advice to anyone who is concerned would be to get it checked! Get that peace of mind she get it looked at by a specialist and made a direct referral for her to see Dr Verity Blackwell, Consultant Dermatologist at Spire Harpenden Hospital. “I had a small biopsy done and two weeks later I got the results that it was stage 1b which means although it was cancer it had been caught early, which was good.” Karen had both the mole and surrounding tissue removed to ensure that the cancerous cells were no longer present. Karen was lucky she had been diagnosed and treated early but it has still had a big impact on her life. “My outlook on life since the diagnosis is definitely different, I have given up work and I now spend time looking after myself. I 54 JUNE 2015
value my health a lot more now and appreciate the people and things that are really important to me.” Consultant Dermatologist, Dr Verity Blackwell said “The signs to look out for are; • Any new moles in an adult that continue to grow • Any moles that change shape, size or colour • A mole that bleeds or itches” A good way to remember what to look out for is the ABCD Mole guide. A = Asymmetry. If you draw a line through the middle of the mole and both halves don’t match, this means it could be more serious and should be looked at. B = Border. If the borders are uneven and the edges appear scalloped or notched, this should be checked. C = Colour. Having a variety of colours or shades of one colour is another warning signal. D = Diameter. Large moles should be checked regularly. This information can be found on the skincancer.org.uk website. Karen finishes by saying “My advice to anyone who is concerned would be to get it checked! Get that peace of mind. If you can catch it early, like I did it’s less complicated and there’s a greatly reduced chance of it spreading elsewhere. Verity was such a lovely Consultant; she has such a lovely manner. I rang her out of surgery hours and she spent time discussing it with me and talking me through the fears I had.” If you have any concerns we urge you to see your GP. Alternatively you can make an appointment to be seen quickly by one of our Consultant Dermatologists at Spire Harpenden Hospital, if you are funding your own treatment you do not need a referral letter from your GP. Call 01582 763191.

T
hese days it seems like every celebrity is having cosmetic surgery, but it’s hard to know what the right procedure is for you. Meet Mr Nilesh Sojitra, Cosmetic Consultant at Spire Harpenden Hospital. Mr Sojitra dedicates his working life to getting his patients the results they want, while keeping the balance of a natural look. Many of the patients Mr Sojitra sees have similar questions, if you’re thinking about cosmetic surgery the below questions could help. How long until I can wear my bikini after my breast enlargement? You will need to protect the scar for 12-18 months with plasters or sunblock. You can wear a bikini after 2 weeks but avoid underwired bras. I’ve read about PIP implants, are breast implants safe? Breast implants are safe, there has always been a lot of research into safety. Always choose a surgeon who uses lifetime guaranteed implants. I’ve got wrinkles round my eyes, I’m thinking about having a facelift is this the best option for me? A facelift tends not to address the wrinkles around the eyes. Maybe consider botox or a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), try to avoid sun exposure or smoking, as these can increase wrinkles. How much bruising will there be if I get my upper eyelids done? This varies per person and depends on whether you’re someone that bruises easily. Generally any bruising lasts 1 – 2 weeks. Upper eyelids tend to bruise less than the lower ones. I’ve lost loads of weight and I’m left with excess skin on my stomach and my arms, can I have this surgically removed? Yes. As long as your weight is stable and maintained we can remove the excess skin and you’re a non-smoker. I had a C-section when I had my children a few years ago, I would like liposuction now but I’m not sure if I can because of my C-section scar? Caesarean section scars will not interfere with liposuction. I’d recommend a consultation as you may require a tummy tuck rather than liposuction.
The procedure is available at Spire Harpenden Hospital and is much less invasive than previous methods
My son is being bullied because his ears stick out, I’ve heard a little about ear pinning, can you give me any further details on recovery times and scarring? This procedure is available at Spire Harpenden Hospital and is much less invasive than previous methods. He would
not be able to play contact sports for 3 months postprocedure. We also have a new procedure available called earFold that might be suitable for your son, this procedure has the benefit of minimally invasive downtime. What scarring would I get from a breast enlargement, if I went from a B-cup to a DD-cup? The level of scarring differs from person to person. I would have to assess whether this cup size would be right for you. I use 3D imaging so you can get an idea of what you will look like. I had a flesh-tunnel when I was a teenager which is now around 2cm and won’t close on its own, it’s stopping me getting jobs and I’d like advice on surgery to correct it? We can correct that for you under local anaesthetic I am a male that works in London and gets the train every day, I find that I sweat a lot even when the weather isn’t very warm. I’ve heard that Botox can help? It’s called Hyperhidrosis and Botox is very effective for people who suffer from this. It’s done as an outpatient appointment and can be repeated every 6 months or so. I went to Thailand and had my breasts done, there was no aftercare and now I’m concerned that something is wrong? This highlights the dangers of going abroad, you’re welcome to see me for a consultation but it is important to note that bad surgery can sometimes never be corrected. I understand that there’s a procedure that can reduce the appearance of the dreaded ‘turkey neck’. Do you have any information on this? That would be either a neck lift or liposuction. It would be best if you popped in for a consultation to so I can assess which option would be best. Mr Sojitra can be seen at Spire Harpenden Hospital and is regularly involved in the free cosmetic open evenings held at the hospital, along with the other Cosmetic Surgeons. The free evenings give patients a chance to ask those big questions that might be weighing on your mind. Call us to find out more information on 01582 714420. Please note that a full consultation will be required before surgery can proceed.

Unmask your potential THE WRINKLE SMOOTHER
Sheet masks - face-shaped patches saturated with complexion-boosting serums - originated in the home of so many skin innovations, South Korea. Unpeel the two transparent parts of the SkinPep Collagen Growth Factor Face Mask, £19.99 for five (www.skinpep.com), and smooth them over your face for 30-40 minutes for a plumping, peptide-rich skin infusion.
THE FACE FIRMER
Promising to mimic the action of Botox, Temple Spa’s The Contourist, £50 for six masks (Selfridges or TempleSpa. com), is an ultra-firming sheet mask that tones, tightens and fades pigmentation. With a chin strap and loops that hook over the ears, it’s slightly scary looking, so make sure you’re not expecting any visitors when you pop it on.

hile that kind of luxury remains an occasional treat for most of us, a bit of DIY indulgence is well within reach - and can make a real difference too. Because they get longer to seep beneath the surface, the active ingredients in masks work their magic where it’s needed most, while giving you instantly visible results at the same time. And right now, there’s a slew of new soak-in saviours targeting everything from sullen skin and frazzled hair to clogged pores and acne. So block out an evening, light a scented candle, run a bath and get ready to mask in glory...
THE BRIGHTENER
The latest addition to Origins’ line-up of the UK’s bestselling masks is the Dr Andrew Weil for Origins Mega-Bright Dark Spot Correcting Night Mask, £48 (www. origins.co.uk), a leave-on cream packed with vitamin-rich botanical extracts and dark spot-fading actives. There’s a reason charcoal has been a trusted cosmetic ingredient for generations - powdered carbon (that’s really all it is) loves sucking up icky stuff from our skin. Likewise, Clinique’s Pore Refining Solutions Charcoal Mask, £22 (www.clinique.co.uk), works like a Hoover on pores and mattifies oily patches. 64 JUNE 2015
THE SCALP SOOTHER
Tea tree oil is well-known for its calming properties, but apply too much and it’ll really sting. The Australian Bodycare Scalp Treatment Mask, £14.50 (www.qvcuk.com), gets the blend just right, resulting in a cooling sensation that soothes itching and flakiness. fter running a marathon a few weeks ago, I was relieved to try out this foot-filing gadget. The toil of pounding the pavements during training had left the skin on my feet hard and ugly, and in need of some TLC before summer - and the associated sandal-wearing - arrives. Battery-powered, small and very easy to use, I was really impressed with the Micro-Pedi. It files feet quickly and, most crucially for me, doesn’t hurt. While not as cheap as a handheld file, the results - smoother, nicer feet - justify the cost. But bear in mind - it does take off a LOT of dead skin, so make sure you’re prepared with a strategically placed towel to catch the flakes!” £29.99 (www.lloydspharmacy.com)

A Son’s Journey with Helping Hands Homecare
E
veryone’s route to care is unique. A son of one of our current customers has agreed to share his story… Mum used to live in Norwich before she moved nearer to me in St Albans. Mum always was the ‘carer’ of the family. She cared for us children, she cared for dad. We grew up and left home and when dad died she was lost and became more and more socially isolated. It took three years to convince her to move to be near me and her grandchildren. She was so resistant it was unbelievable. When it seemed the ‘lady was not for turning’ she suddenly announced she would move. I found a lovely warden supported flat. Lots going on, social events, good ‘neighbours’. However, her hearing was never the best
admitted to hospital. Her GP went to the hospital to visit her and it was at this point that it was proposed mum should come home with professional care. Not everyday but enough to help me, to support mum, to take the pressure off. I vaguely heard of Helping Hands. I did some research online and also asked friends a couple of whom are doctors. Helping Hands name came up on several occasions. I contacted them and arranged for their Care Assessor, to come out and meet mum at the hospital. Helping Hands were able to react the same day and I really did feel they had a ‘can-do’ approach. They made several helpful suggestions and were great at identifying and reducing risks as well as being very knowledgeable about
They made several helpful suggestions and were great at identifying and reducing risks as well as being very knowledgeable about the service they could offer and nor is her eyesight and these were given as the excuse for not joining in with the social events and building relationships. Also because she was now so local, I ended up providing her evening meal 7 nights a week and doing her shopping and helping round the house. The balance between wanting to support mum with my kids and wife caused a lot of tension. Then things were taken out of my hands. Mum had a fall. We were in a vicious circle. Mum was not eating, not drinking, weak and dehydrated and eventually Mum was
the service they could offer. There was no hard sell. The options were well presented and we made our choice. Mum arrived home and the very next evening Mandy (pictured above with Mum) a Helping Hands Carer arrived at mum’s. Mandy was like a breath of fresh air. Initially she was scheduled to do 2 evenings a week, however I soon felt we needed to increase the care as the ‘risk point’ for mum at lunchtime. So then mum started having Mandy at lunchtime 6 days a week. Mum took to Mandy and a couple of the other Carers like a duck to water. Mandy remains her firm favourite though. With regard to Helping Hands as a company – I can honestly say they have been there all the way with us. Understanding and highly responsive at key moments they have exceeded my expectations every step of the way. From my conversations with the Carers and office staff I know that they also support with full time live-in care should mum get to that level of need and that is a huge weight off my mind. I hope that my story has been able to give others confidence and an added awareness of how support can work at home for you and yours. Mr G Marlowe, St Albans

Solid Roof Conservatories
If you don’t plan, plan to fail. 80 JUNE 2015
W
hen it comes to adding a conservatory or orangery to a dwelling or changing a glass roof for a solid one, many UK home owners have been badly advised by misinformed neighbours, double glazing suppliers and double glazing salesmen looking for a quick sale without advising you of the consequences. It may be helpful to first know what the “official” definition of a conservatory or glass extension is. Conservatories must be at ground level and have a floor area less than 30 square metres, they must be thermally separated from the dwelling by walls, windows or doors which meet the energy efficiency requirements, the dwelling’s heating system must not be extended into the conservatory, orangery or porch, and a significant amount of the walls and roof must be of a translucent material. Nowadays there are “Solid” roof products available that are thermally efficient enough to comply with the Building Regulations. These “warm roofs” offer excellent insulation as in effect make any structure a proper extension, which is why they require prior Buildings Regulation Approval. These systems tend to have thin steel tiles covered with acrylic for durability, with the option to have roof windows. Whilst double glazed conservatories and orangeries remain the most popular choice for UK homeowners glass extensions, given that in the vast majority of cases they can
a conservatory was built under planning permission “the roof finish will have been specified in the granting of planning permission and therefore a change from glass to another finish will require the change to be approved by the local planning authority.” It is wise therefore, before ordering a new solid roof for your existing conservatory or indeed buying a new conservatory with a solid roof, to first obtain all necessary planning and Building Regulatory Approvals in writing from your local authority. Also any existing foundations should have trial holes excavated to ensure they are adequate to support the new loading. In most cases a 150mm thick concrete strip foundation or reinforced concrete slab which bears onto original ground will be adequate. Foundations passing over drains, close to tree roots or on filled ground may require further consideration. It is even possible that a local Building Control Officer will insist that additional ventilation is retrospectively added to existing conservatory walls if a solid roof replaces a doubled glazed one, especially if the original roof had an opening roof vent or if the current double glazed windows and doors have inadequate ventilation for the size of living space. It is vital to think through and check out all the implications before ordering a replacement solid roof for an existing glass extension.
Any existing foundations should have trial holes excavated to ensure they are adequate to support the new loading. be designed and built so that Building Regulation Approval and Planning Permission is not required, this is not the case with solid roof conservatories. That is because solid roof conservatories in the eyes of Local Planning Officers and Building Control Officers are deemed to be an actual extension, rather than a glass roof conservatory or orangery that if designed correctly, can be exempt from needing planning approval and/or Building Regs. That said, solid roof conservatories do offer a more thermally efficient option, though obviously drastically reduce the amount of light in the room, compared to a true glass extension. There are several modern day solid roof systems with attractive, thin, hard wearing tiles and insulated ceilings with down lights that comply with the thermal requirements of the Building Regulations that offer homeowners a structure that is in effect an extension rather than a conservatory with a double glazed roof. Property owners with an existing conservatory need to be mindful of the fact that they cannot legally put a solid roof on their conservatory without first obtaining Building Regulation Approval and in many cases planning permission as well, due to it’s change of use, which permitted development may or may not cover. One of the conditions attached to Permitted Development under Clause A3 is that “the materials used in any exterior work (other than materials used in the construction of a conservatory) shall be of a similar appearance to those used in the construction of the exterior of the dwelling house”. For example the development permitted by Class A states that “a pitched roof on an extension should be clad in tiles that give a similar visual appearance to those used on the existing house roof.” According to the Glass and Glazing Federation, where

Beech Hill is simply the most stylish and coveted street in the most stylish and coveted corner of rural Hertfordshire. Surrounded by homes of distinction, Palazzo stands out as the jewel in the crown. Perhaps surprisingly, despite its calm and charm, Hadley Wood is just 40 minutes on the tube from the West End and City. As far as Italians are concerned the kitchen is the heart of any home, and that belief is synonymous with the kitchens designed within Palazzo. These expansive kitchens will boast a jaw-dropping combination of Gaggenau and Poggenpohl appliances, Quartz surfaces and floor-toceiling windows flooding each with natural light, creating what can only be described as kitchen heaven. This high-end spec and attention to detail will set the tone
for the home. From the individually designed and handcrafted sanitaryware in the wet-rooms, to the under floor heating and rich wood and gold detail in the huge bedrooms, these homes will raise the standard in luxury living. And each home will be brought together with elegant Lutron mood lighting and easy to use Control 4 home automation systems. It will all be managed by wallmounted touch screens, phones or tablets, allowing for complete fingertip control of your home. The Palazzo apartments will be a spectacle inside and there is much to delight outside too. Broad and luxuriant terraces and exquisitely landscaped and manicured gardens are a treat for the eye, while rolling Green Belt is the view further afield from the top floor Penthouse. Each Palazzo home will come with discrete, reserved and gated underground parking. Not only does that ensure peace of mind, night and day, but it means you can leave the roof down, whatever tomorrow’s forecast. At Palazzo, Fusion Residential can safely forecast unprecedented levels of interest. Three of the apartments were sold off plan, such is Fusion Residential’s reputation for perfection, practicality and the pursuit of happiness.
