∂ Product news CIRANOVA Ciranova has some new handy maintenance kits for oiled, varnished, laminate, and LVT floors. The kit always includes three products, one for weekly cleaning, one for thorough cleaning, and one for extra protection. For oiled floors there is a kit for colourless maintenance and for maintaining white floors with a white parquet soap and maintenance oil. For varnished, LVT, and laminate floors there are two versions available, namely for matt and satin floors.
DECORAD SYSTEMS - UV CURING RENOVATION LACQUER FOR LINOLEUM FLOORS The maintenance of linoleum is a very large market. Working with polymers on linoleum floors means placing three layers of wax on top of each other, this is a process of 10 to 12 hours. Those wax layers are stripped once or twice a year with an alkaline cleaning agent, so that the waste water enters the sewer and you discharge millions of liters of chemicals per year. The alternative: Permanent protection of the floor by applying a water-based UV lacquer, followed by curing with portable UV light. The result is an immediately usable floor with an absolutely "like new" appearance that also lasts much longer: three to five years with only frequent dry cleaning and/ or damp (flat) mop. In the current society of sustainability, including solar panels, windmills and electric cars, it is logical that we have to say goodbye to an environmentally harmful and outdated technology such as polymers. HARO STRIP PARQUET ADORNS THE BEHR`SCHE VILLA IN DRESDEN Prestigious reference project A new gleam has been added to the Behr`sche Villa located in the Government District of Dresden nearly 200 years after the building was completed. Architects have preserved many of the original building details and had a herringbone pattern of HARO strip parquet laid on the floors of the villa’s spacious offices.
