PINELLAS COUNTY, FL As of April 15, at 8 am, unmarried gay couples in Pinellas County, FL can register for a domestic partnership. Orlando Is Viable Space For Gay Games 2018 ORLANDO, FL Orlando may be the hosting city for Gay Games 2018, according to an article by Central Florida Future. The sporting and
cultural event aims to promote respect and social awareness amongst athletes. The activities are designed to increase participation, with varying skill and fitness levels. The Gay Games is the largest sporting event in its league. Ann Gynn, director of marketing and communications for Gay Games 9 in Cleveland and Akron, Ohio, said “the games will bring $57 million dollars to the region.” Florida’s income relies heavily on tourism, so its an obviously welcome addition to the sunshine state.
Adam Lambert At Pride And Receiving Key to Miami Beach MIAMI BEACH, FL Openly gay singer Adam Lambert spent the previous weekend at the 5 Annual Miami Beach Gay pride Festival. Saturday he was awarded the key to the city of Miami Beach and on Sunday, headlined the main event in Lummus Park. The weekend was filled with celebratory pride around every corner and Lambert’s performance was just the icing on the cake. With scantilyclad backup singers, a powerful voice and a prideful image, he wowed the crowd and closed out the weekend with a bang.

Mainstream comic books have received their first openly transgender character this week via the Batgirl series. The bisexual character reveals her big secret to Batgirl via a conversation in the newly released issue #19. Batgirl gives her an endearing hug and tells her she loves her. Writer Gail Simone told Wired.com that fans were the real reason behind the creation of Alysia. Simone questioned,”why was this so impossible? Why in the world can we not do a better job of representation of not just humanity, but also our own loyal audience?” The audience was apparently heard, loud and clear.

ing about becoming the first openly gay athlete in major U.S. team sports.” The comment went directly to Rick Welts, the openly gay president of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, who was then asked to pass the message along. According to Bloomberg.com, Welts said, “they made it clear to me Nike would embrace it. The player who does it, they’re going to be amazed at the additional opportunities that are put on the table, not the ones that are taken off.”
Rick Santorum: Gay Marriage Discourages Straight Marriage This week on “The O’Reilly Factor,” Rick Santorum said he thinks that gay marriage would discourage heterosexual couples from marrying and inevitably, would result in Americans having less children. When Bill O’Reilly asked Santorum if allowing gay marriage would “discourage heterosexual marriage,” Santorum responded with a solemn, “yeah, I believe it would.” He then went on to say, “and when we say that, then, of course, the consequences are you’re probably

going to have less children. It’s happening as we see it. It’s already happening in America.” Santorum isn’t new to giving his uncensored opinion on gay marriage. In response to a 2011 article from the Huffington Post (which centered on the dropping marriage rates in America), Santorum tweeted this as a rebuttal; “here is one effect of changing definition of marriage.”

the fight against bullying! Please ‘like’ and ‘share’ to send a message loud and clear that bullying needs to stop now! Tell school districts that protecting bullies by turning a blind eye is wrong! Shame on Kaukauna area schools for protecting a bully in their school!” His son, Shiloh, is a sixth grader at River View Middle School, in Wisconsin’s Kaukauna School District. Shiloh was slammed multiple times by a bully on a gym mat, and when he approached the school’s staff, was told that it was his fault for “walking into the lion’s den.” – The gym is said to be the hangout spot for the school bullies. Only after gaining half a million likes and shares did the school decide to respond to the situation. All students involved in the incident were reprimanded. Father Matthew Bent says, “would anything have happened if I didn’t take that picture? My gut reaction tells me no.”

WITH GAY MARRIAGE ON THE HORIZON, WHAT’S NEXT?
W
BY PATRICK ROBERT
ell, we’ve won. At least that’s the news headline trending on the Internet for the last few weeks. Even if the Supreme Court doesn’t knock down DOMA or Proposition 8, the court of public opinion has reached its own verdict, and gay marriage only seems like a matter of time. More amazing, an incredible Time magazine cover story proclaims, “Gay Marriage has Already Won”. No matter the outcome, in the past ten years the public’s view on samesex marriage has done a complete 180 in our favor; it seems, if not today, certainly in the not too distant future, America will finally achieve marriage equality. So if gay marriage is the holy grail of the gay rights movement, is the movement itself over? I thought of this last week when one of my graduated former students contacted me, asking for guidance in dealing with assimilation into gay culture. According to him, it was not only intimidating yet also confusing. What were the rules and how best to navigate this space? Over the years, many students had asked me about coming out, or how to find other gay guys, but this was the first time a graduate about to plunge forth into the adult gay community sought guidance. I was perplexed about what kind of advice to give. There are so many different facets to the community, so many negatives and positives for any new traveler venturing into the gayborhood to understand. Searching for answers myself, I went to the Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade over the weekend. What better place than a pride parade to see all of the community’s predilections exaggerated, out in the open, and on full display? It was a startling celebration to be sure, one of the largest and grandest prides I’d ever attended. The entirety of Ocean Drive was blocked off, allowing the aggressively bare-chested muscled men, the shimmering drag queens, the hand-holding elder couples, the factions of Hispanic diesel street gays, and the strained chiseled abdomens space to dance, prance, and, inevitably, cruise. Vendors along the beach entryway struggled for a semblance of a cohesive message, what with the Swinging Richards tent set up a few steps from an AIDS
Pharmacy, or the gay church not far from the bathhouse’s table. This microcosm of gayness kept contradicting itself – a positive insomuch as that we’re branching out and allowing for all different types, yet certainly a confusing mish-mash of ideologies for any burgeoning youth trying to make heads or tails of their new future in this world. The men’s posture and behavior alone spoke of some of these contradictions. Prides are notorious for fostering a party atmosphere alive with drugs, drunkenness, and unsafe sex. This one was no different. For every affectionate gay couple or sound professional stood drugged-out street boys or stumbling drunkards. The men also all seemed to conform to the traditional image pressures: designer bathing suits, jacked-up bodies, forthright body language, and a group mentality of predation. Certainly intimidating for any newcomer to the scene. So what things could I say to my ex-student? For one, there are a lot of people looking out for him, more so than ever before. Strong political groups like the Human Rights Campaign and Equality Florida push positive messages. Support groups are numerous, including Safe Schools South Florida, college GSAs, and Pridelines. The community itself is incredibly diverse and accepting of all different types; this could be seen in the many different businesses promoting such events as the gay film festivals (Miami and Fort Lauderdale) or future prides in Wilton Manors and St. Pete. There are activities aplenty, ranging from Gay Disney to camping trips at Sawmill Campgrounds. The gay community has reached its pinnacle in terms of business acumen and organization. But there are also many things to warn about. Gays are many times more likely to be alcoholics, drug addicts (the Center for American Progress found that 30% of the gay and transgender population abuse substances, as compared to the 9% from the heterosexual population), and unfortunately, suicide victims; gay youth are four times more likely to commit suicide based on a report of the Secretary’s Task Force On Youth Suicide, while adult gay males are three times more likely to have
attempted suicide than the general male population, according to a UCSF study. It’ll be interesting to see if those statistics change with increased familial acceptance. The beauty standard is high and competitive (a gym membership may be a suggestion). Internalized homonegativity still runs rampant, with an unhealthy fixation on “str8-acting” types, not to mention the good portion of men who are struggling to establish healthy relationships. The gay culture was first coming into fruition 40+ years ago in sections of New York City and San Francisco. This community (as outlined in the Time article) was one of mostly libertines bucking the status quo. Much of the makings of the gay culture came from rejecting the social norms. They were sticking a middle finger up at society, saying that all of the contraptions that made up America’s fabric had no business in their community. But what happens now that we have become a part of the social fabric? Should
the culture itself remain stagnant, still a space that rebels against traditional values? We are about to be granted the most traditional value in America. It might be time, as society continues to accept us, for us to look inward, at the community itself, analyzing the shocking statistics on mental health and maybe cleaning up some of our own cultural norms. Then, the new gays, having been raised in a much more accepting American culture, can chart an easier path while assimilating into gay culture, without any need for warnings. A year ago, I told my father that I felt gay rights wasn’t over until The American Adventure ride at Epcot Center (a film tracing different minority groups gaining acceptance in America) contained a clip with rainbow flags. Now, though, I think I’ve changed my mind. Gay rights hasn’t been achieved until I can look my gay students in the eye and say, without blinking, how truly proud I am of each facet of our culture.

Wine, Food and Fashion
Known primarily for his SNL news parody, the “Weekend Update,” Seth Meyers is a funny, funny man. Since the departure of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, Meyers has assumed the role of head writer for SNL, and so far, he’s done a fantastic job. He’s managed to give the Weekend Update more of a Talk Soup vibe, and while Kristen Wiig’s hilarious portrayal of Denise – the Laurence Welk castaway sister – will always have a special place in our hearts, Jacob the Bar Mitvah Boy is a fantastic rebuttal from Seth. For that we thank you Mr. Meyers. 8 P.M. The Fillmore Miami Beach. 1700 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, 33139.

Red Hot Reba For a good portion of the 90’s (and early 00’s), Reba McEntire was the future of Country music. Aside from being the new face of Country music, she also successfully starred in movies, television shows and even spent some time on Broadway. Starting in 2001, she starred in a sitcom where she played the title character, Reba Hart. It centered on a divorcee trying to piece her life back together while simultaneously raising three kids and a grandchild. It was one of the WB’s most successful sitcoms, and garnered a solid fanbase of mostly adults; a drastic change for the WB, who at the time was catering mostly to teens. While the show ended in 2007, Reba has recently returned to television. She now stars in a brand new sitcom, “Malibu Country.” While she hasn’t announced a new album yet, she has played a new track at live shows which she recorded for “Malibu Country.” 8 P.M. Hard Rock Live. 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood 33314.
Amy Schumer: Awkward, Dark, Sexual Amy Schumer will once again showcase her talents at the South Beach Comedy Festival this year. Schumer started on the fifth season of “Last Comic Standing” and has since gained roles in a whole slew of projects. She landed a regular role on the Adult Swim series Delocated and has appeared on 30 Rock, Curb Your Enthusiasm and multiple Comedy Central Roasts. Known for her dark, uncensored humor, Schumer has only this to say: “I don’t like the observational stuff. I like tackling the stuff nobody else talks about, like the darkest, most serious thing about yourself. I talk about life and sex and personal stories and stuff everybody can relate to, and some can’t.” 8 PM. The Colony Theatre. 1040 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, 33139.
Live Every Week Like It’s Shark Week From 1996 to 2003, Tracy Morgan kept himself busy with Saturday Night Live. From 2003 to 2006 he played roles in various comedies before landing his biggest role to date, the “30 Rock” character known as Tracy Jordan. The caricature of the comedian landed him an Emmy Nomination in 2009 for

With live acts, special record store day releases, local vendors, and FREE beer, this is your daytime 4/20 spot. 9 A.M. - 10 P.M. 845 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, 33304.
Barbadian Babe Your favorite Barbadian has arrived. The singer may be back together with the ever-charming Chris Brown for now, but that’s not important. Well, it kind of is, but what’s really important is that she has the voice and talent to back up all the scandal. Her latest LP, “Unapologetic,” proved once again that Rihanna is trying to take the crown; she wants to be the Queen of Pop. “Diamonds” is still blaring in every bar or restaurant you go to, not to mention her earlier singles, such as “S.O.S.” and “Please Don’t Stop the Music,” are still getting frequent plays. She’s sold over 150 million records worldwide, won seven Grammy Awards and has already directly influenced dozens of new artists. 7:30 P.M. BB&T Center. One Panther Parkway, Sunrise, 33323.

Love Isn’t Really A Battlefield One of the most played artists in the early days of MTV, four-time Grammy winning singer Pat Benatar is best known for her tracks “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” and “Love Is A Battlefield”. She married her beau/ lead guitarist, Neil Giraldo, in 1982 after dating for 3 years. Sarah Silverman is juvenile, obnoxious and downright filthy. But if you can get past all of that, she’s hilarious. Her book, The Bedwetter, was favored by multiple critics, and the audiobook actually received a nomination for a Grammy Award. LE PATIO Small Space, Big Taste
/floridaagenda floridaagenda.com
By RICHARD DAVID CHAMBERLAIN
I
Sheep’s Head in County Cork) never surpassed the version served at Le Patio. And while we have no such actual familial ties to Patio House Lasagna, for this particular rainy night we did. It was a thickly cheesed dish that layered ground beef, mushrooms, onions and crushed onions with a hint of béchamel sauce. While the recipe may not come straight from Sicily, the taste certainly did. Yes we were stuffed, yes we had leftovers, and yes we licked the plate. If overeaters anonymous is not on your radar, the restaurant does serve several top rate salads, with housemade dressings. This night we opted for Chicken & Avocado ($13.60), which filled a plate the size of Cleveland. The chicken is organic and poached, served warm atop chilled mixed spring greens with sliced tomato, yellow peppers, and avocados. While Jean is from Ireland, Vero is from France and she lends her background and her name to Vero’s Very Famous Gratin Macaroni ($8.95). What might escape your eyes will not escape your taste buds for its Vero’s touch of freshly grated nutmeg and béchamel sauce that makes this macaroni a keeper. The flavor combination has turned this selection into the restaurant’s top-selling sidedish. Even so, it’s given some strong competition from the French Onion Soup ($4.75), which manages to keep all the traditional flavor without the sodium. If you can spare a tiny corner in your already full stomach, ask if Vero has made Crème Brûlée. This classic dessert is custom torched at your table. Guy Magazine insists you take a large bite and smile. H

t was a damp, cold, rainy Friday night when we ducked into Le Patio for dinner, The kind of evening that we seldom see in Fort Lauderdale--one that makes you long for a warm fire, a golden retriever, and a glass of pinot noir. Now, Le Patio doesn’t have a fireplace or a sports hound, but it does pour an excellent glass of red wine. Walking through the tiny restaurant took only three bold strides, as we moved to the outside patio covered by a striped awning, and plopped ourselves at a table made from several old Singer sewing machines. We know what you’re thinking. Raining night, dank air, outside patio. It was only then, as we took the first sip of pinot, that we felt it. There is a wonderful warmth about this place, and not even the miserable weather was able to dampen the glow that makes Le Patio special. Much of the magic comes by way of the restaurant’s two owners—Vero Leroux and Jean Doherty—who are European transplants and life partners. Their love for each other and for food makes for sweet bedfellows. When you sit down in the girls’ place, you’re sitting down with friends. The comfort here extends to the food, which extracts its toll in calories. It’s tough to explain how we could actually order Real Irish Shepherd’s Pie ($13.95) and Patio House Lasagna (14.95) while complaining about our waistlines, and then finish off the entire enormous portion without a hint of guilt. Both dishes are served in au gratin bakers, piping hot, and mounded high with cheese. But that’s where the similarity ends. The Real Irish Shepherd’s Pie is a hearty meal that deserves its name, for as we savored every delicious bite, we remembered similar feasts of ground beef, carrots, onions, and peas, topped with mashed potatoes and baked to perfection. Our paternal grandmother, Mary Clark (whose Shepherd’s Pie ruled supreme on

BRUSCHETTA BY THE POOL
RECIPE
By SEBASTIAN FORTINO
W
hat should be a celebration of nature composed of a salad of ripe tomatoes, verdant, fragrant basil, garlic, salt and good olive oil with a few grates of black pepper has been over-complicated by websites. Here is the version I like to make at home, usually by the pool with grilled bread. REAL BRUSCHETTA • 2 lbs of ripe tomatoes • 6 cloves of garlic, skin removed • 24 basil leaves (12 to cut up, 12 to use as garnish) • 1 loaf good whole wheat or white bread • 1/4 cup good extra virgin olive oil • Ground Sea salt • Ground Black Pepper Chop tomatoes into uniform pieces, about 1/2 an inch by 1/2 an inch wide; place in large attractive bowl. Roll 12 basil leaves into cigar-like shape; using kitchen shears, cut into ribbons. Pour over olive oil. Grind generous amount of salt over mixture, about eight turns of grinder. Very delicately, using clean hands or rubber spatula, toss. I say delicately because you don’t want the tomatoes to break down too much. Place in the refrigerator for no more than 30 minutes. Next slice up the bread. Now…many
recipes online say baguette, that’s not what you see in Italy. There, they use a hearty, wide bread, which we might call “peasant” or “country bread.” Slice bread into a dozen, one-inch-wide slices. Place on cutting board, head to grill with big bowl of tomato salad and serving spoon, six cloves of garlic, remaining basil leaves, large serving platter, and pepper grinder. Make sure grill is good and hot. Place sliced bread on the grill and grill for 1-2 minutes on each side. Like a steak you want to see the “grill lines,” but you don’t want the toasts to overcook or burn. So, pay attention! Next, here comes the fun part, after toasts are finished take a clove of garlic and gently rub it on each slice of bread – the firm, crunchy toast acts like a fine grater. Lay toast on the platter – garlic side up – then spoon generous amount of tomato salad mixture onto each toast. Place a whole basil leaf on top. Grate black pepper over everything. The only “trick” about this recipe is to have the garlicky toast warm underneath while the tomatoes are slightly cold. Serve with a good, cold, dry, white wine!. Buon appetito!

Q: I’ve been curling the same weight for months. What can I do to break this plateau? A: I’d suggest you improve your grip strength by increasing your forearm strength. Your forearms consist primarily of the flexors and extensors of your wrists and fingers. Adding exercises such as palms-up and palmsdown dumbbell wrist curls to your arm workout will lead to improved forearm strength and consequently a stronger grip – ultimately improving not just your curls but all your lifting exercises. This is a good reminder for guys who work their biceps and triceps but forget the importance of the forearms. Q: I have been working out in the gym for more than a year but my chest is still flat. What do I need to do to build my chest? A: To build an impressive chest you will need to work it from different angles to stimulate this large muscle called the pectoralis major, better known as the pectorals or pecs. Push-ups, bench presses and flyes should be at the top of your list. Use free weights, especially dumbbells, and cables instead of machines which often restrict your range of motion and will not recruit supporting
➊
muscles as effectively. Using heavy weight is essential to stimulating the muscle fibers and gaining size in your chest. You can lift more with barbell bench presses, so go heavy and lift in the lower rep range; go relatively lighter with dumbbells. For safety, always train with a buddy or invest in a personal trainer for even a month or two to learn proper form and technique. To build the upper chest, I favor an incline bench press using a barbell. For variation, try a reverse grip or use dumbbells. Use a wide grip to hit the outer areas of the pectorals; conversely, try a close grip to work the center line of the chest.

TIP: VARYING THE ANGLE OF THE BENCH FOR INCLINE OR DECLINE EXERCISES CAN HAVE A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON MUSCLE STIMULATION. To target the lower chest line, decline bench presses and decline flyes are great exercises. When selecting equipment, remember that cables can increase your range of motion, allowing you to cross the center line with resistance during a chest flye. This increased motion will help target the center of the chest, while dumbbells can be effective at working the outer chest as they provide maximum resistance due to gravity at the open position or when the arms are out to the sides.

Position a preacher bench in front of a cable pulley with a rope attached. Grab one side of the rope with each hand, with your arms fully extended (photo 1). Keeping your elbows against the padding, simply curl the rope, squeezing the biceps at the top. Lower to the starting position, making sure you extend your arms fully.

SAILING ON THE WIND STAR
TRAVEL
Part One BY ROBERT ELIAS DEATON
T
here’s a love affair going on between Source Events and Windstar Cruises. The decade-old organizer of gay cruises and events, and the boutique cruise line of tall ships, have joined forces multiple times over the years to sail around the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, and points in between, providing an impeccable experience that falls easily into the luxury category. We explored the beauty of sailing on the four-mast, 148-passenger Wind Star motorized sailing yacht last month when Source Events chartered the ship for a cruise along the coast of Costa Rica and through the Panama Canal. Say what you will about divine decadence, the folks at Windstar Cruises have cornered the market with its recent $18 million renovation of their fleet of three sailing yachts. The msy Wind Star is their namesake ship—440 feet long including its elegant bowsprit. When she was built in 1986, this vessel was the first commercial passenger sailing yacht constructed in 60 years. There are only 74 staterooms aboard, so the competition for a berth can be steep. Seventy-three of the oceanview rooms are identical and spaced along two decks on Level One and Two, so that automatically cuts down one-upmanship for the best cabin. (There is one Owner’s Cabin with a queen bed and dining/sitting area. No, we were not invited inside.) While the staterooms are petite, you won’t feel cramped, so well laid out is the storage, seating and bathroom design. From flat-screen TV with built-in DVD (DVD’s are available free through the on-board library), to the Bose SoundDeck system that plays your iPods, these rooms are swathed in tones of beige and brown, casually elegant and adorned with fresh cut flowers and dark chocolates. The msy Wind Star is at its best when

delivering an array of food that bordered on stunning, both in presentation and taste. The main dining room is called AmphorA, and is situated toward the bow of the ship on Deck Three. Nightly dinners are lavish events with filet mignon, grilled lobster tail flown in from Maine, duck l’orange, grilled salmon with a citrus glaze, plus a host of vegetarian selections which Texas native Jesse Brown insists were the secondbest he’s tasted. (You’ll have to ask him personally who topped his list.) Nearly as flawless, but far more casual were the abundant breakfasts served from Veranda, an al fresco restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the sea to your table, like it or not. Open from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. daily, this breakfast bistro had everchanging staffed steam table selections, with a made-to-order omelet station, and warm freshly-baked bread. The day not only began in Veranda,
but it’s the spot to get a hearty lunch, where daily themes make each day a culinary surprise. It was in this very spot that we first tasted our new favorite soup—chilled rhubarb and strawberry— garnished with cream, chopped strawberries and lemon. We’re not sure who first thought of combining those flavors, but they should be sainted and enshrined someplace Biblical. The Source Events team, lead by cruise director Heinie Lund, was everywhere and nowhere—skillfully fulfilling shipboard fantasies, which in this group of gay travelers seemed to know no bounds. The average guest age was 42, though they ranged from 21 to 78. The one evident quality that all the passengers seem to share was exercise and health, packing personal trainer Andy Kress’ classes if only to work off that last incredible meal. Next week, we’ll highlight the faraway ports that beckoned Guy Magazine far from home. Ahoy!

ecord Store Day is coming. If you’re not familiar with the annual celebration, just know this: there’s free beer, live bands and record releases that are EXCLUSIVE to the stores taking part in the internationally celebrated day. It’s a day to celebrate music and vinyl, in any way possible. We had the opportunity to sit down with Mikey Ramirez, the main man over at Radio-Active Records to talk about what we can expect to go down on this Saturday blowout. Agenda: What was your initial reaction to Record Store Day back in 2008 during its inception? Mikey: It’s nice to have a day where your profession is recognized. I never knew it would grow beyond cult status. The major turning point was when NYC Mayor Bloomberg declared April 19, 2009 Record Store Day. The New York Times picked up on it as well as other high profile media outlets. Everything changed from there Agenda: Do you find RSD to be very community driven? Is it people coming out to enjoy music with friends and family? Or is it mostly record collectors? Mikey: All of the above. A lot of families and beginners as well as hardcore vinyl collectors. There’s something for everyone on Record Store Day. Agenda: What’s your favorite record? Mikey: Of all time? Very tough. I’ve answered this question so many times over the past ten years and my answer always changes. Some of my favorite bands/artists are Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Killing Joke, Brian Eno, Roxy Music, Public Enemy, Genesis, Bauhaus, John Martyn, The Smiths & The Cramps and they each have 1 album that is an all-time favorite!
Agenda: Any incentives to get people off the couch on a Saturday morning/afternoon and into RSD mode? Mikey: Plenty! In addition to all of the exclusive records we will have in stock, we
Mikey Ramirez
are offering free coffee for our early customers, free beer for the afternoon, food trucks, an outdoor vendor market, live screen printing, concert ticket giveaways courtesy of Live Nation, Revolution Live and Grand Central and a raffle in the late afternoon for a chance to win autographed records from The XX, Beach Day, Snoop Lion, Iron & Wine as well as a turntable, t-shirts, tote bags and more! We’ll also have new exclusive Radio-Active merchandise for sale, including slipmats, 45 adapters, koozies and more! Agenda: What RSD release are you most excited about this year? Mikey: The Cure-Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me 2xLP on red vinyl and the Nick Drake 2xLP reissue! Agenda: What do you hope to accomplish with RSD in the future? (maybe doing a late night event in the future or something) Mikey: Every year, I try to think about what we have accomplished with the previous RSD and ask myself, “How can we do better? What else can I offer as an incentive? What do people want to see more of?” There has been talk of a huge concert in our parking lot out back but that requires months of preparation. With RSD receiving more exposure every year, anything is possible. Agenda: RSD is full of exclusive releases, what should people be on the lookout for? Mikey: Some of the high profile releases this year are from Tegan And Sara, Joan Jett, David Bowie, Phish, Kate Nash, OMD, Phoenix and The Cure!
