“Dress like you want to paint the world...”
Dress like you want to paint the world. I’ve decided not to change this reflection because I believe it’s important to remember that we have the power to live in the world we want. Fashion - it’s not just a business industry. It’s also a way to communicate, to express ourselves and change the image we have in this time in our lives. In Virtual Diva Magazine, we want to project that feeling. We want to provide the space where we can be free to paint our own world. This issue is full of new and exciting things! We had the extraordinary designer, JumoFashion - owner/designer of Jumo, as our Fashion Icon and, I must say, that she is one of a kind! Not only for her talent, but also for her sweet personality. We asked some of our bloggers to put together stylings to highlight her designs, and they didn’t disappoint! In this issue we are also featuring all the lovely models of Fantasy Angels Company. We will be sharing with you each month a little bit of each of them so get ready to fall in love with each and every one of them! The very talented photographer, Stella Sangria, is the master of art and video - I am so in love with her work! We also have our Blogger of the Month section and so much more! We hope you enjoy this issue as much as we’ve enjoyed making it!

Hello Dear readers, In this edition of Virtual Diva Magazine, we have with us Jumo, a fabulous designer with a unique and sophisticated style. Hello Jumo and welcome. It is a real pleasure to have this opportunity to get to know you. I am sure all of our readers will be happy to hear about you. let’s begin with a few questions to help our readers learn more about you and your designs. (Q) In your words, how do you define fashion?
In fact, I was so anxious to show this right away. It took me days alone to finish one dress. I spent many hours translating tutorials “HAHA”. I had so many things going through my head I wanted to do, and when it was finally done and ready I was so exhausted, but very happy. (Q) I bet in the beginning things
14
(A) Jumo fashion carries itself with Glamor and sensuality, with a modern flair of being a woman. I like to think of fun ways to always be chic, whether it’s work or parties to entertain. No matter where you come from, or where you go, we try to bring quality and elegance in any universal language, and is what I try to translate to the collections styled by Jumo. (Q) Do you remember the first design you ever did? And how did you feel when you saw the finished product? (A) Yes I remember!
were easy. Do you remember a special moment in this time? (A) “Ohh Noo” Things have never been easy for me “HAHA”. When I entered SL, I intended to makes clothes from the beginning, and to own my own store. I spent much time within the marketplace looking for my muses, my inspirations. They was like stars in a almost

unreachable constellation. I had no background within SL when I started. I resorted to tutorials on how to make skins and clothing. That was a big help. The only time it became a little easier, was when I started doing textures. I had done this with RL, so was less tense to try within SL. (Q) What is your creation process if I may ask? can you share a little about this with us?
“it takes a lot of courage to accept it and begin to learn. It takes a lot of willpower to not give up...“ (A) Everything is based upon research I do. First..work out the product mix that will work within what you want to create.(the complete look in mind) Then I go to the blender to assemble the basic structures of mesh and textures and take that within Photo shop. As many items involve different aspects of finished looks. Finally, I work the photos for the vendors. (Q) What do you think is a designers most difficult challenge? (A) I think the most difficult challenge to being a good designer within SL is to Master the several techniques. In mesh, you need to master the construction of 3D objects and their rigging. Textures are another universe within Photo Shop, not to mention the challenges once in world. Building flexi’s for example, such as Marketing,Photography, managing business’s to name a short few. Each of these areas are a particular universe, to understand them is what challenges us! (Q) There are a lot of designers out there, what would be your advice, Especially to those new to this and SL? (A) I would say do not be afraid to learn. In SL we learn new things everyday, I think it becomes a mission to want to learn more “HAHA” We all need to understand that we know nothing, and that it takes a lot of courage to accept it and begin to learn. It takes a lot of willpower to not give up. (Q) What are the plans for your Brand? (A) Remember that constellation i spoke of before? I would like Jumo Fashion to be among those stars. How to get there? “Ahh” this is a process. I am increasingly working with my original mesh’s to help me learn more everyday.
15
Doing this allows me to provide better quality to my clients. I study about the textures as well, and this also helps me grow. It is step by step. (Q) Our readers would love to know a few things about you personally. I have a little word game that has become tradition, so I will be asking you a few quick questions...are you ready? (A) Yes, Sure! (Q) Dogs, or Cats? (A) Cats first, dogs then second (Q) Biggest Nightmare? (A) Oblivion (Q) Second Life for you is? (A) A fascinating work (Q) A moment you will keep with you forever as a designer? (A) When I met one of my stars from that constellation, Mrs. Mimi Juneau. That moment was so special to me. Best quality .... the ability to love another person reguardless or race, color, and or gender. I heard someplace that love makes the world go around. I think LOVE makes miracles happen, and that there are no frontiers for Love. (Q) Regular or Diet Coke? (A) Regular. Once a week “HAHA (Q) favorite Movie? (A) Wall-E That is all the questions i have, I would like to thank you very much for your time on this interview. Do you have any final words for our readers? (A) I want to thank you for your generosity in inviting me to join your beautiful magazine. Thank you very much. As we said before, love changes everything. Love heals all evils and heals all wounds. In whatever we do, we can put love in front, then we are sure it will work! No matter how long it takes and no ma atter the barriers we find. Love makes miracles.

We can do it! Can´t I have my own voyager Styling based on Louis Vuitton at Second Life? our avatar as our creation... We are inspired to offer it you.!!
“THE ONE” FASHION FOR MEN 30
Keeping up with Jones is difficult work. Suitably, he’s tasked with designing the menswear for Louis Vuitton, a house whose founding raison d’être was the notion of the voyager…Inspired by Africa with cuts of punk interspersed for good British measure, Jones riffed on animal prints, woven leather textures, and Louis Vuitton’s monogram in ivory and black in his collection. According to show notes, the designer’s
African
inspira-
tions mark not only a sense
Alexander Finds refers to him as “How come, then, that for next season Jones decided not to escape, but to return? His Spring Louis Vuitton show wasn’t about travel—rather, a homecoming. In typical Jonesian fashion, that doesn’t relate to a single locale, but a trio: Africa, where he grew up; London, where he was educated; and Paris, where he lives and works now”. The mohair styles looked cool over checkered pants licked with silver zips, among the punk accents that spiked the African theme. The collection had a youthful zing, interspersed with luxury marvels
of travel but also a return to one’s roots. Yes I need my inspiration!
Can´t I have my own voyager Styling based on Louis Vuitton at Second Life? Fashion’s obsession for Spring or Summer is travel—synonyms, indeed, are fast running out to describe the nomadic, itinerant, roving eye of designers… Travel is the key… Tartan textures, luxury on bags, glasses shown our avatar as our creation... We are inspired to offer you. Second Life copycat the real life…
“The style down there is so cool,” Jones said during a preview…and we know it! See you next time and enjoy creating your own outfits! Stores you may visit to get this looks: [Phunk], DURA, LEGAL INSANITY, KOKOIA, MELI IMAKO
Kim Jones was born in London in 1979, but by the age of three months, he was already headed with his globetrotting family to Ecuador. A “nomadic” childhood followed including stays throughout Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, and Botswana) and the Caribbean, as well as frequent stops back home in London. By the age of fourteen, Kim Jones knew he wanted a creative career and he considered graphics and photography before discovering that fashion was: “something I could build a world around.”

Nouvelles Adventure is an adorable photogenic village themed Second Life destination. This beautiful sim consist of four little islands connected by two waterways and trekking pathways surrounded by sunflowers and grass. Each of these little islands has their own unique buildings; from lodge house to beautiful village stone houses, from flower garden to playground. All of them build a stunning combination for the visitors. They can take amazing photos, dance, or even just hang out with friends. This is really a place in Second Lide worth visiting. When we reach the landing point we will see a short alley surrounded by waters and waterfalls. Yes this place is beautifully surrounded by water. The default light setting is mesmerizing. I bet no one would think to change the tones of colours they see. There is a dancing area in the middle of the sims. However this time we think sitting and talking together on the dock with a small bonfire is already an extra ordinary virtual experience. Not to mention such perfect feeling we have listening to the list of songs played. 71
