Labo

Labo is the place to be for short films that dare to deviate from the norm. Surprising films that may be non-narrative, that experiment with new techniques or that cross over into other disciplines. A nice range of challenging films that go beyond visual play and that fascinate without getting lost in purely conceptual art.

Labo is de plek bij uitstek voor kortfilms die durven afwijken van de klassieke filmpaden. Verrassende films die soms niet narratief zijn, experimenteren met nieuwe technieken of cross-overs maken naar andere disciplines. Een mooie waaier aan uitdagende films die meer zijn dan visuele spielerei en fascineren zonder zich te verliezen in louter conceptuele kunst.

And yet there is an abundance of images made by surveillance cameras and television channels. A meditative attempt to supplement images that have been dissolved into nothingness.

Sabine overleefde de aanslagen op het Brusselse metrostation Maalbeek, maar heeft er geen herinneringen meer aan. En toch bestaat er een overdaad aan beelden, gemaakt door bewakingscamera's en televisiezenders. Een mediatieve poging om beelden die opgelost zijn in het niets terug te vinden en aan te vullen.
