Short Film Festival Leuven has excellent connections to other short film festivals from all over the world. One of our most esteemed fellow festivals is, without a doubt, the extremely fun Cork Film Festival in Ireland. It is not only the largest festival in Ireland, but also one of the oldest in Europe: it was founded in 1955. The ideal partner for a special menu of Irish short films. Programme 1 focuses on female Irish filmmakers of the first decade of this century, while programme 2 highlights the new generation of filmmakers. Ladies and Gentlemen, Cork Presents...
Kortfilmfestival Leuven heeft erg goede contacten met andere kortfilmfestivals van over heel de wereld. Een van de meest gewaardeerde collega-festivals is ongetwijfeld het razend gezellige Cork Film Festival in Ierland. Dit festival is niet enkel het grootste van Ierland, maar ook een van de oudste van Europa: het werd immers al opgericht in 1955. De ideale partner dus voor een bijzondere landing Ierse kortfilms.
