T
he latest separating conveyor SEL from Linck is designed for separating sideboards from multiple centre products. Its functional principle, for which a patent application has been filed, allows a safe and reliable separation without limitation of the product dimensions.
With a feed speed of up to 200 m/minute, the sideboards on the left and right of the centre product are separated one after the other. As the adjustment to different cutting patterns is done servohydraulically in a very short time, it is possible to operate with short log gaps. The chain-free solution
makes the SEL very low wear and easy to maintain.
