Ewbol Lambcare How to feed:

Mixing: Add 200g of Ewbol Lambcare milk replacer to water to make up 1 litre of milk. For the first 3 days of feeding mix and feed Ewbol Lambcare at 37° C. For the remainder of the feeding period Ewbol Lambcare can be mixed and fed between 25-45° C. Feeding: Ewbol Lambcare milk replacer is specifically formulated to allow machine feeding, cold ad-lib feeding and restricted bucket feeding.

Lamb nutrition:

The digestive system of the newbornlamb is very sensitive to nutritional changes. Ewbol Lambcare offers a well balanced, highly digestible fat and protein level to avoid digestive problems. This ensures the lamb has a plentiful supply of energy for survival and protein for growth.

Lamb health and survival:

Hypothermia and infectious diseases are responsible for the majority of lamb losses. Ewbol Lambcare contains a specialist health pack which lowers pH in the intestine and prevents the growth of harmful bacteria. This results in improved lamb performance and health status.

1 Lactic acid - lowers the intestinal pH which prevents the growth of harmful micro-organisms. Lactic acid also improves palatability and stability of milk.

Ewbol Lambcare is a whey based, water-soluble complete milk replacer.

The use of soluble dairy raw materials in combination with acids makes it an ideal product for rearing and fattening lambs on any system.

2 Medium chain fatty acids - prevent milk contamination by yeasts and Enterobacteria. They also effectively reduce E. coli and Clostridium species in the intestinal tract of lambs.

Vitamins, minerals and trace elements:

3 Omega 3 fatty acids - enhance lamb immune response and have a beneficial effect on Lactobacillus species (the “good” bacteria in the intestine).

All necessary minerals and trace elements are included at a high level. These are important for lamb health and growth: ➞ Magnesium: nervous system and bone formation. ➞ Managanese: fat digestion and bone formation. ➞ Zinc: disease resistance. ➞ Iron: haemogoblin in red blood cells. ➞ Selenium: muscle building.
