Use Dietplan Milk Fever Prevention Index (MPI) to determine the risk of milk fever and required TRANSLAC DCAB feeding rate.

DCAB Target should be -150 meq/kg DM, ensure calcium levels are adequate, up to 140g. Target urine pH 5.5 - 6.5.
