Get STEAMed Ages 6 and older can participate in Grandstaff Library’s free STEAM Makerspace program with science, technology, engineering, arts and math. We meet 4–5 p.m. the first Thursday of the month. Join us for Ozobots Feb. 6! Participants can uncover interests by making, producing, solving, creating, collaborating and thinking with projects.

Kids can spend time reading their favorite book to a reading assistance dog at Book Patch Library’s “Books with Bogan.” Bogan’s visiting 3:30–4:30 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 13 and 27. By providing quiet comfort, the trained dog transforms into a supportive reading buddy and trusted friend in a safe and welcoming space. Call 253-967-5533 to reserve your spot. Dream in STEAM Calling youth who want to explore the world of science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics! Join McChord Library’s Dream in STEAM and learn how to design, build, problem-solve, create and expand your knowledge in engaging activities every other month! This month, we meet Friday, Feb. 21 starting at 4 p.m. and enter into a world of unlimited imagination.
