MAY 2019

OMG. IT’S PAUL THINKING THOUGHTS Hey Dudes and Dudettes, I hope my words find you well. Well, although we’re occasionally reminded it’s not the time for fun and sun to be enjoyed everyday, the arrival of the Spring season has, for the most part, enable us to enjoy the warmer weather and allowed us to venture outside without the abundance of layered clothing we joyously shed off. It feels good to get out and feel the warm sun on our faces while enjoying the numerous opportunities to partake in the arts that are presented outside as well as in. There were a few such times this past month and they will be met with many more as the Month of May progresses leading the way for even more during the course of the Summer Months. We’re contemplating doing a few outdoor adventures of our own during the Summer Months. We’d like to hold a free concert featuring several local musicians and bands and organize opportunities for photographers and painters to capture the images that are presented during the upcoming outdoor concerts the Summer Season is well blessed with. We’re also planning our Forwardian Film Bestival Tour in which films that won awards during the 2018 Forwardian Film Festival will be shown in several locations throughout the Northeast PA Region. It’s a very exciting time for the Forwardian Arts Society and we would love for you to be a part of the adventure. Contact us at forwardian@hotmail.com for more information. In the meantime, we’re continuing to receive a nice number of original films for us to consider for inclusion in The 2019 Forwardian Film Festival. The excellent quality of the work continues to make it difficult to determine which films will be selected for the event. We’ll be receiving original cinematic works until June 1st and we are eager to finalize our list of wonderful films we’ll be sharing this year. Already, it’s shaping up to be our best film festival yet. It’s at this time we would like to thank those who have and are continuing to help us select some incredibly great films for the festival. Like we said before, it ain’t easy to perform this task but we’re glad and appreciative that you’re doing it. Thank you. In closing, we’re looking Forwardian to enjoying May and the future Summer Months with you. There are already so many things to do and there will be plenty more happenings to enjoy as time goes on. See you then. Let’s Art. Well, that’s all from me for now. How are you? Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have about this publication, The Forwardian Arts Society, or anything at all. I promise to tell you everything. I would make a terrible spy. I look forward to hearing from you soon and I'll keep a good thought for you until then.
