WHAT THE FORWARDIAN HAS PAUL BEEN THINKING Hey Dudes and Dudettes, I hope my words find you well. Although there were many opportunities to rejoice in the arts this week, they were all touched with a profound sadness when the news of the sudden death of Lisa Posegate Sakoutis reached us. As we have learned, Lisa suffered from a brain aneurysm which immediately took her life. Her love for the arts and living life fully was and remains to be an inspiration to those who had the good fortune to know her. She would often be seen with her two friends Lauryn de Leeuw and Rena Hottinger who would be considered a bonafide triple threat as their incredible talents and zest for life never failed to light up any room they entered. Thank you for touching our hearts Lisa. We are much better people because of you. As you can see in this publication, we’ve been to the first meeting held by The PoconoArts Council to explore the many possibilities relating to the changes they are to make in the coming months and beyond. The gathering concentrated on the possible sites the PoconoArts Council will be housed and it was recently revealed that their offices will be located at County Business Offices Complex at 701 Main Street in Stroudsburg, PA. In addition to this, a great portion of the meeting was spent discussing the financial needs and desire to raise funds for the organization. All in all, it was an informative and insightful meeting. On the Forwardian front, we have decided when and where to hold our get together to explore the possibilities our fellowship can explore as we participate in the arts. We are scheduled to meet at The Renegade Winery in Stroudsburg, PA on Thursday March 14th during the Soho in the Burg Artists’ Reception. This will be a very informal affair and conversations can take place sitting at a table enjoying some wine or chatting while viewing the wonderful art that will be on display. The venue will also have an Open Mic Nite after the reception and many will be welcomed to continue our chats during the performances. It will be great to see you there and learn from your love for the arts. See you there. Let’s Art.

Well, that’s all from me for now. How are you? Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have about this publication, The Forwardian Arts Society, or anything at all. I promise to tell you everything. I would make a terrible spy. I look forward to hearing from you soon and I'll keep a good thought for you until then. Going Forwardian with you Paul Adam Smeltz The Forwardian Arts Society

LET’S SHARE SOME MEMORIES.
