Mayra Roubach is the founder of Fotomiles. She is a freelance, Travel and Lifestyle photographer, based in Miami, Florida. Born and raised in Brazil, she comes from a remarkably diverse background. With her passion for traveling, she strives to capture the true emotions and essences of people, landscapes, cultures, in her own "novice" style. Alejandro Borgese, Argentine photographer, has been an explorer of the natural wonders of the world. He has devoted himself to the passion for light and finding light in our everyday life.

Fotomiles is an online collaborative photography platform with an unpretentious but unique way of promoting the art of photography through highly customized photo tours and workshops, and various initiatives that fuel your passion for photography.

After shooting against the clock as a commercial/advertising photographer, in 2010 he finally decided to spend more time with nature photography. His most acclaimed project – to photograph the beauty and mystery of The Everglades National Park – became his dream come true. Over 32,000 photos taken during an entire year of work transformed into an extraordinary book, published by Lunwerg. To travel through its pages means to open ways of each secluded area of the park that appears to us as paradise on earth. His book is available for sale online.

s the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States, the Everglades National Park boasts rare and endangered species, an extraordinary ecosystem with a multitude of habitats for animals, plants, wildlife and landscape. Discover this tremendous diverse environment with acclaimed photographer Alejandro Borgese, who has being photographing and documenting the park for years.

1 THurSDAY, NOV 8 Arrive in Miami/Key Largo independently. Fotomiles is happy to assist with your flight arrangements and transfer from Miami to Key Largo hotel. Please request a quote at registration. — Check in for three-night stay at Key Largo hotel. — Welcome cocktail, introductions and workshop orientation after 4pm. — Afternoon will be spent going through all important information about the park and the workshop in order for participants to get acquainted with location and local regulations — Dinner at hotel (dinner not included). —

Photo tour at the park with private vehicle, driver and guide. — Group meets at hotel lobby at 4:45am. Early breakfast on the way. The group will enjoy sunrise scenes and explore very important sites around the Flamingo Visitor Center by trekking and boating and will learn different photography techniques along the day: wildlife, close-up, scenes. — Picnic lunch around 1pm. Return to the hotel after lunch. — Participants are encourage to start editing their images for critique with Alejandro Borgese. Dinner at hotel.

Participants will have an amazing opportunity to practice their skills in wildlife, close-up and scenes, photographing the most beautiful places in the park areas between Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center and Flamingo. — Return to the hotel in the evening after sunset. — Farewell dinner.

— Deposits, cancellations and refunds A non-refundable deposit of $95 per person is required with reservation, which is applicable toward land service purchases (e.g. hotel, car rental, tours, land transfers) for the proposed tour. Payment in full is required when bookings are made less than 15 days before the start date. Fotomiles reserves the right to cancel your reservation if payment is not received when due. If a participant wishes to cancel they must send notification via email and in writing to Fotomiles.
