razil is in fashion nowadays. Since long ago, the world fell in love with its music, stunning beaches and beautiful people. Recently, the resilience of its economy, together with the upcoming 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic games have brought even greater awareness to the country and its vast natural beauty and resources. This is an incredible time to visit and photographically document this booming nation. We begin our journey in Rio de Janeiro, the second largest city in Brazil, and certainly one of the most extraordinary cities in the world. Its spectacular landmarks, vibrant colors, strikingly diverse cityscape invite everyone to
get their cameras out and photograph. Often noticed, the visual curves of its hills and mountains – the Sugarloaf, Christ the Redeemer, the waves of Copacabana pavement - majestically lead your eyes to the Cariocas’ sculpted beach bodies. From Rio de Janeiro, before leaving to Salvador in the State of Bahia, the tour will spend one day in Paraty, a charming, historic, colonial town by the Green coast, which was once part of the Gold Trail during the Portuguese colonization. Salvador has a truly festive atmosphere and is also known as the capital of happiness and easygoing people. WWW.FOTOMILES.NE T
It is one of the oldest Brazilian cities and represents the center of AfroBrazilian culture, with amazing cuisine, music and architecture. Its historic center, which is a World Heritage Site by Unesco, displays the traditional Portuguese urbanism from the 16th century. By combining these two fantastic cities in one photo tour, Fotomiles gives all fellow participants the opportunity to experience and learn more about Brazil’s diverse culture and immense country, besides the chance to take home a memorable collection of images.
