A Word from the CEO
Our family has been building boats at the Rosättra Boatyard since 1948. We are the third generation to carry the tradition forward, it is something we are immensely proud of, and we are looking forward to continuing to develop the yard and stay innovative.
We are approaching the future embracing the same mantra we have had since the beginning: keeping it simple and safe. These core values permeate both the development of the boats and how we move forward as a company. We see it as an advantage that everything is managed inhouse, especially as we are so close to our customers and the realisation of their dreams. Our grandfather always used to say that the reason we build such great boats is because we have such great customers. We did not understand it back then, but we do now – and we are always there for our customers, old and new. We look forward to creating the boat of your dreams together with you.

Don’t Let the Size Fool You
Straightforward sailing without any compromises, and a lot of boat in a very manageable package – the smallest yacht in the Linjett range can certainly hold her own, both at the jetty and at sea. She is slightly beamier than her predecessor, which both creates a light and spacious feeling below deck and allows for a lot of clever storage compartments. If you want a tiller or steering wheel is completely up to you – you will get the perfect yacht for cruising the archipelago either way.
The Joy of Sailing in
“Having a boat that is ‘archipelago-compatible’ is important pelago and have access to all its hidden gems without being and it allows you to access most places.”

— DANIEL, DAISY, L34 №55Classic Lines & Clever Solutions
Her slender and classic lines make the L34 responsive and nimble to sail, yet the modern L-bulb keel provides stiffness whilst heeling. This in combination with the large rudder gives you total control, both under sail and when mooring – it is especially appreciated when manoeuvring in smaller harbours. The goal is to create a yacht that is simple to handle shorthanded using clever and thought through solutions: having all control lines run below deck is not only functional, it also keeps the cockpit clean.
”You can almost sense that the people who build the boats are also sailors. The solutions are ‘close to the sailor’ and feel practical and natural.”

The hull is injected in one shot with uncut unidirectional fibres. This makes the hull light and stiff, and allows for the use of large modern windows in the freeboards. The structure is protected by a layer of vinyl ester behind the coat of premium gel coat.

Performance & Flexibility
The Linjett 34 has a relatively larger sail area compared to her sisters, and she has got speed even in lighter wind conditions. Aside from creating a yacht that would be a joy to sail, the goal when developing the rig and sails was to create a flexible sail wardrobe that could easily transform to fit the circumstances and the crew onboard. If, for example, you choose the 107% furling jib, it is marked so that it can be furled in just the right amount to make it work as the self-tacking jib solution that is standard.
Craftsmanship meets Modern Technology
At Linjett we manage everything in house: from development and design to aftermarket. It means we have control of the whole production process and build personal relationships with our clients as we are with them throughout their entire ownership of the yacht.

The interior is characterised by smooth lines and soft edges, with intricate high-quality woodwork and beautiful glulam details. It is a classic look, but below the shiny warm surface we have hidden the latest clever technical solutions. We take great care when choosing the technical components for our yachts, it is a long-term environmental approach: systems should be both durable and future proof. It is something we see the effects of every day as we work on Linjett’s that are anywhere between brand new and up to 30-40 years old. This is also why we continue to improve and develop our models, even after they have been launched.

Comfort & Functionality
The interior is light, spacious and cleverly designed. It is evident that no short cuts have been made with regards to function or craftsmanship. The Linjett 34 is a boat that should be sailed, and the interior is created thereafter: everything from the kitchen cabinets to the chart table is adapted to work even when the boat is heeling, but there have been zero compromises when it comes to comfort. The two double berth cabins have full height ceilings and slatted bed bases, and the large lazarette can be accessed from both the head and cockpit.

By Sailors, for Sailors
When you step on board you will notice how the boat is built by expert craftsmen, and when you start to sail you will notice that the boat is built by skilled sailors. The edges of the interior are all rounded and you will notice how the layout feels safe and how you find steady handles in exactly the right spots.
The height of the cockpit and manageable distances within it creates a safe space, and you will find an adequate footrest sitting to windward. The openable aft gives you the best of two worlds, simultaneously creating a protected, cosy space and providing easy access to the water.
Tailored Solutions
”For us it was important to be able to ‘reason and discuss’ our way forward, and to work with a yard that listen to us, and tailor the yacht to our needs and wishes. The team at Linjett is extremely perceptive and solution oriented, whilst at the same time providing constructive feedback and pull the brakes when needed.”
BOE, SERENAND 2, L34 №52
What is important to you, is important to us. We want every customer to get the yacht of their dreams, whether that means having a specific sail wardrobe or an espresso machine on board, and we will always do our utmost to make your boat everything you hoped for.

See Your Boat take Shape
When you order your Linjett you can follow the entire production process from choosing the specifications to launch. All Linjett’s yachts are made to order: we do not start production until an order has been placed. This makes every boat unique, completely adapted to the preferences of the owner. Ordering a new boat is a major decision, which is why we invite every client to be part of the journey and come to visit the yard during the production process. It is also why you will always have a personal point of contact at the yard.

anno 1886 boatyard
A Full-Service Yard with a Familiar Feeling
The Linjett boatyard is Sweden’s oldest, founded in 1886 by Erik Jansson, and is located an hour north of Stockholm. It was bought from Erik’s sons by the Gustafsson family in 1948. Today it is a modern boatyard managed by the third and fourth generation of the Gustafsson family.
Normally the relationship with the boatyard ends the minute you are handed the keys and set sail. You are left alone to figure out how to manage upkeep, winter storage and any potential reparations or refits – not at Linjett.
The Linjett yard is a full-service boatyard, where everything is managed in house: from development, design, plastic layup, woodwork and production to sales and aftermarket. From log to finished interior. This means that we help our clients with anything that has to do with their boat, big and small. An important service we provide is that we always welcome an owner that require service, no matter if they have a pre-owned or new yacht. To date we have never turned away an owner that required help with winter storage, and we are there for our customers during the summer season, should they require swift answers or assistance during their vacation.
The Linjett Family
Linjett is not just a yacht brand, it is also a community – with its own association. Svenska Linjettförbundet, the Swedish Linjett Association, was founded in 1989 and arrange annual regattas like the Linjett Cup and the Linjett Championship. Approximately 460 yachts, and their respective owners, are members today, which is quite impressive considering about 900 yachts total have been built.
