“We may not have it all together, but together we can have it all, a quote from Mark Murphy which inspires Caitlin in her leadership role. As the former President and current Event Coordinator in Auto Collision Club, Caitlin would like to bring togetherness and more involvement of students in many clubs’ activities. She believes in that a leader is an initiator of ideas and action. More than that, a leader has greater responsibility to ensure that every idea is heard and every action is counted. She believes that criticism is central for a leader therefore she always tries be open minded and understand others point of view to have a good communication and function as a team. One of the most memorable experience when she was in charged as the leader of Car Show Event 2015 for the transportation club. She thinks the biggest challenge at that time was about delegation. Delegating has never been easy. However, she realized that giving the opportunities to the members and allowing them to handle the work were worth try. She really appreciated the members who were willing and passionate in doing the tasks. She learned that putting a big trust in the members helped them to conduct a successful event.
