You encourage us by your presence, and we hope that our worship together will be a spiritual boost for you. Please pray for continued healing of Barbara Clemons, as she recovers at Edgewater at Waterman Village Rehab, 300 Brookfield Avenue, Mount Dora, 32757. She is in Room #111A. She is expected to be in rehab for at least 2-3 more weeks. Please keep Rufus in your prayers as well. Their home address is 2358 Wakefield Way, Mount Dora, 32757. After many hours of stressful waiting, Dan Gilmer is home and is doing well. The consensus of his doctors was that he passed out while stretching backward over the couch, which pinched the vena cava and cut off blood flow and oxygen to his brain. This gave the appearance of having a seizure. Thankfully Heath Frederick was there to get him breathing again! Dan will follow up with doctors here concerning his syncope. Thank you for all the continued prayers. 4163 Waltham Forest Drive, Tavares, 32778. We praise God that Brian Holtin’s dad, Rodger Holtin, received 2 stents. He is now home from the hospital, and doing well. Rodger Holtin’s address is P.O. BOX 732, Henderson, TN 37077-0732. Please continue to pray for our sweet sister Sara Norfleet. They found a spot on his lung, and will do another CT Scan in October. Please keep Leroy & Peggy in your prayers. 8122 St. Jacobs Logtown Rd., Lisbon, Ohio 44432. Please keep the father of my two children in your prayers. He was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident this past Tuesday night. My kids are Landon & wife, Melou and Erica & husband, Daniel. In our Ministry Plan the Elders have set aside four Love Offerings this year for special purposes. This quarter our Love Offering is August 16th and the money collected above and beyond the weekly budget will be designated for Eustis Heights Elementary. Please pray about how you can do your part in our upcoming Love Offering on Sunday, August 16, 2015. Vic Pruett will continue our Summer Series, Wednesday night, August 12, 2015. Vic’s topic is “In The Name of Jesus” John 14:13-14, 16:23-24. Grab a flier from OCentral to see all the guest speakers for the summer! Make sure to invite your family, friends and neighbors to this fantastic series! Our annual Back to School Bash, at the Parkview Apartments, is set for August 15th, 11 am to 1:30 pm. This is a community outreach to feed and provide school supplies to our neighbors next door to Orange Ave. In addition to hot dogs and the fixings we will also have a slip and slide game, backpacks and school supplies. We can’t do this without your help. Consider stepping up in one or two ways: 1) Contribute a little to buy the food, backpacks and supplies. If you want to help with this please see Bill Baker or Pete Adams. 2) Show up at the Parkview Apartments at 10:45 am and stay as long as you can. We will need cooks, servers, backpack hander-outers, and smiling faces. If you have any questions, please see Bill Baker or Mike Cockrell.
