Sandra Jones’ mother, Annie Burks fell and broke her hip. She is in ORMC, not doing well. Please pray for her. Paul & Betty McClung’s great-great nephew was born premature and only weighed 1 lb. & 2 oz. Little James is holding his own but this little fellow needs our prayers. Cards can be sent to his Daddy & Mommy, James & Connie Jacobs, 12 Pine Tree Rd., Lock Haven, PA 17745. James Norman, brother in law of Peggy Norman and Uncle of Deb Taylor had a stroke February 1st. He is in the hospital in Houston, Texas. His wife Billie Norman, fell and tore the muscle away from her ribs. Please pray for the Norman family at this time. James & Billie Norman, 8603 Leawood Blvd., Houston, Texas 77099. Wanda Ritchie is asking for prayers for her daughter, Holland. God is working in her life, so please pray for that to continue, and that God’s will be done for Holland.
We are proud to announce the birth of Aleah Lowrance who was born on January 21, 2015. She weighed 5lbs. 1 oz. Aleah is the Great-Great Granddaughter of Paul & Betty McClung. She was born in West Virginia and makes the 5th generation in her family! Congratulations to all the generations, especially to Paul & Betty! God is so good. We are proud to announce the birth of Ryleigh Boyd Granddaughter of Susan & Douglas Tillery. Ryleigh was born on January 24, 2015 and weighed 5lbs. 6 oz. Adam & Laura Boyd are the proud parents, and Molly is the proud Big Sister. Proud Great-Grandmother is Mildred Boyd! Congratulations!! It is with great sadness and much reluctance that we announce the sudden death of James Wert, son of Cletus & Carolyn Stutzman, brother of Chris Stutzman, Cleta Horton & Laura Sexton. James was born October 1, 1958, in Eustis, Florida to Kenneth and Lillian Wert. At the age of three, James moved in with Cletus and Carolyn Stutzman. He attended Christian Home and Bible School in Mount Dora from Kindergarten through twelfth grade where he excelled in all areas, especially track and cross country. James married Jeanne in 1989. James worked as a computer operator, in home improvement and most recently as a rope maker for Masterline. James went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2015. He is survived by his wife Jeanne, his parents Lillian Ricks and Cletus and Carolyn Stutzman; his siblings, Peggy, Julie, Larry, Gary, Susie, Chris, Cleta and Laura; and a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held Friday night, February 6, 2015 at Allen J. Hardin funeral home, Mount Dora. In lieu of flowers the family request that you make donations to the James Wert Memorial Fund at Christian Home and Bible School. The proceeds will go to the Monty Boyd Track Fund.

Children to visit Osprey Lodge: All children ages preschool through grade 5 are invited to visit the residents of Osprey Lodge Assisted Living Facility in Tavares on February 15, 2015. We will have lunch at the building and then prepare Valentine cards for the residents. We will leave from the building at 2:10 pm and return at 4:00 pm.
