LOTUS
Brand extension headphones
The Lotus headphones is the result of a brand extension of the car brand Lotus. By means of an extensive analysis, we determined the brand identity and translated the brand values into explicit and implicit characteristics. After the analysis period, a transition was made to a design phase in which product concepts were generated based on the integration of the previously determined characteristics in a new product. Finally, the concepts were verified and we designed a definitive headphone that should perfectly match the design language and brand values of the Lotus brand.

A questionnaire was drawn up for each concept in which different aspects were questioned on the basis of a five-point scale. In total, about 40 people were surveyed, half of whom were nondesigners and the other half designers.
HIDDEN PEARL Hiking residence in nature
Commissioned by the University of Antwerp and the Scheldevallei, an iconic accommodation was designed to attract more tourists to the region. “Have you always wanted to stay in the middle of nature and see the gems of the Scheldevallei? Book ‘The Hidden Pearl’ of the Scheldevallei now and discover the natural beauty yourself by bicycle or on foot. From the outside it looks rough and unobtrusive, but when you enter a whole new world opens up and you have a view of the entire valley.”

CUP CO.
Optimizing the reusable cup process
Cup co. supports the reusable cup in the complex process it must go through. It is a product line consisting of four products: the Cup co. Safe, Counter, Wallet and Bank. They ensure that the bar process at an event is more efficient, faster and more ergonomic. Hygiene is maintained by a sealing and there is a clear separation between dirty and clean. Cups can be stacked and stored very efficiently. Added value is thus created in various areas that must convince organizers to switch to reusable cups.

The new collection box, the Cup co. Safe, is made as spaceefficient as possible and is rounded everywhere so that no dirt or moisture remains behind. It is much more ergonomic and ensures quality guarantee.
The Cup co. Counter ensures that the dirty cups are easily collected and stacked without having to count them. You can easily fill a whole layer with cups with it in the Cup co. Safe.
In addition to the Cup co. Counter there is also the Cup co. Wallet. Both can be attached to a new bar module, the Cup co. Bank. The Wallet is a smart system for collecting tokens.

MOGI
Product-service for prenatal depression
In society, pragnancy is known as an event full of happiness. However, this is often different in reality. The pregnancy is accompanied by the so-called "baby blues", where a woman is very emotionally shaky and has moments of ups and downs. This product-service combination is designed to support every pregnant woman during pregnancy and keep them emotionally balanced. In this way we want to tackle prenatal depression and try to prevent it.

ORITATAMU
Polypropyleen design lamp
A lampshade was made out of polypropylene sheets. I got my inspiration from origami and went looking for my own interesting folding pattern that I could use for this. It was important that it had to be sturdy and that it also had to have a nice shadow-light effect. The end result is a modern lamp that bends both vertically and horizontally due to the folding pattern. The different surfaces provide different incidences of light, which emphasizes the folding pattern nicely.
