The Hidden Treasures Winter Music Series is one of the absolute gems of Fremantle’s music calendar. Created to bring more life and music into the historic, character-filled clubs along High Street in Fremantle’s West End, the month-long music festival has grown into a comprehensive snapshot of the WA music scene; past and present. This year more than 45 acts will play across five venues in the West End, so there is no reason to hibernate this winter! Icons like The Kill Devil Hills, Jim Fisher, Carus Thompson and The Floors sit side by side on a very diverse line-up with newer, buzzy bands like Verge Collection, Mt. Mountain and Stella in a schedule that’s intended to introduce audiences to bands they might not usually see. We’re also proud to introduce a live music photography exhibition with a Fremantle touch, curated by WA music identity Bob Gordon, and our first designated band merchandise hub and hangout, Nonna’s Lounge where the public can meet the musicians. Hidden Treasures: Hidden Treasures: 40 Years 40 Years of of Freo Freo Music Music To celebrate the depth of Fremantle’s musical heritage, a special project CD named in honour of Hidden Treasures Winter Music Series will be launched at this year’s event by Carus Thompson, Mo Wilson & The Drivers and Dave Brewer at the Buffalo Club on July 7. The CD is a compilation of 40 years of Fremantle music from Dave Warner to San Cisco and a limited number of copies will be available at Nonna’s Lounge.

Stella 9.00PM Soulful, folky, jazzy and possessing an absolutely killer voice, Perth pop sensation Stella is currently recording her debut EP and has decided to give everyone a sneak peak of what is to come.
The Honeyriders 10.15PM The Honeyriders began as Pussy Galore in 1996 with two founding members Rebecca O’Brien and Trevalene Neil. They are reuniting after eight years to play especially for Hidden Treasures.
