Your Bold Next Step Hi there, and welcome to this short guide on taking Your Bold Next Step. Before we get started I’d like to know if any of the following questions resonate with you... Do you feel as if you are somehow holding yourself back and there’s a deeper level of confidence and joy that you would love to have? Do you feel like you’ve achieved success in your life, but there’s something missing? Are you overwhelmed with a never ending to do list and your becoming exhausted? Are you frustrated that despite your best efforts you keep on coming up against the same challenges? If any of this resonates with you - I know exactly where you are and believe it or not - you’re not alone. These are common issues that many women face in part due to increasingly stressful lifestyles and a culture that tells us that ‘this is what you should have and this is how it should look’.
Also as women we have a tendency to take on too much which can deplete our energy and inner resources. We often say yes when we really want to say no. but it’s difficult isn’t it because we want to be liked, we want to be approved of and we don’t want to let others down. So what starts to happen? Well, we can end up feeling resentful and that we’re living lives that we didn’t sign up for. If this continues frustration and blame can set in..and we become wedded to the problem being “out there” be it a person, a situation or even a past event. It’s not surprising that many of us feel that way because over the years we have taken on board a set of beliefs and values unconsciously, that have gone for the most part unchallenged. So what do I mean by that ? We grow up exposed to certain ideas about life, the way the world works and also who we are and who we think we should be. We learned this stuff as we were growing up. We learned it from our family, our peers our education system and society in general. Some of these beliefs support us and empower us as women however others may have served a purpose back then when we were growing up but now could be holding us back. Some examples of these ideas are that success requires hard work and sacrifice, often in the form of a loss in personal freedom OR that success is measured in what you acquire or the accolades that you have got. You might even have learned that some Emotions are a sign of weakness or instability and need to be suppressed.
The thing is that if these limiting beliefs go unchallenged then they are running you at some level and you are not even aware of it. You don’t have to unconsciously repeat these old patterns that limit you.You can clear them. You can live your life feeling confident in who you are, knowing what’s important to you and what you want to create in the world.

If all my years of working with 1000’s of clients doing personal and leadership development coaching, have taught me ‘One Thing’ - It’s that real transformation happens from the inside out. My own story is no different - I had a senior position,good salary, fancy car and the office in a posh part of London. It looked like I’d made it but inside I didn’t feel that as I was permanently exhausted and didn’t seem to be able to relax properly. I found it hard to switch off and I began to wonder what it was all about. If this was success then why didn’t it feel that good?
My health began to suffer and within a few years I found myself sitting in front of a doctor on the receiving end of a cancer diagnosis. This was shocking to say the least and at first I was in disbelief. Not long after that diagnosis I realised I had a choice, I could choose fear or I could see it as a wake up call and do everything in my power to support myself physically, mentally,emotionally and spiritually to have the best chance of getting through it, knowing of course there are no guarantees. When something like that happens it can force you to waken up to your life, where you’re going and who you want to be.
I wanted to live a life filled with the dreams I had of still being a mum, having vibrant health, running a successful business doing something I was really passionate about and seeing more of this beautiful world we live in.

That was over a decade ago and I have been on a journey that I now call Your Bold Next Step, a journey of exploring myself and my world, of understanding what drives me and what holds me back. A journey that has enabled me to find MY joy and inspiration. A journey that enabled me to live a different quality of life and if I can make those shifts then you can too. So let’s have a quick look at the journey I call - Your Bold Next Step - It consists of 4 elements.
This is where I will help you stop and engage with where you are right now in your life, whats working, whats not and what might need to change. It’s about being honest with yourself. A lot of the fear and anxiety in our lives comes from what’s hidden. Once you shine the light on it you can expand your focus beyond the immediate and allow yourself to think bigger and fuller. When you get present and engage with your current reality you begin to gain a greater clarity of focus and can start to see what’s really possible. You can only do this if you stop ‘being busy’ and hit the pause button. Imagine what it would be like to have that ‘breathing space’ and start to feel clearer about who you are and where you’re going.
The second element is SHIFT which is all about opening up what’s possible for you by creating a shift in your perception Now that you know where you want to focus your attention, SHIFT will help you reveal and remove any limiting beliefs, bad habits and energy drainers that are keeping you stuck. This will enable you to regain your energy and move forwards with greater confidence and clarity, unencumbered by the old baggage that’s been weighing you down. It’s such a relief when you finally get in touch with your biggest blockers as you can then let them go and welcome in a whole new expansive way of thinking, of feeling and of living.
Now that you are starting to ditch the things that were holding you back - you become free to dream big - and create a compelling new vision for yourself that will pull you forwards and keep you feeling strong and resilient when faced with the inevitable challenges that crop up along the way. The exercises are incredibly powerful and inspiring and they will really engage your emotions in creating a future vision for yourself. We’re moving into deliberate and conscious creation. The women I work with say that when they have this clear vision - it really helps them to prioritise and start saying ‘no’ to things that don’t move them in their desired direction. It feels very empowering when you shift towards your vision.
Which brings us to the final element called INSPIRE as it’s full of tools and processes that will keep you inspired on your journey. This is where you start to use life changing tools, techniques and practices that will help build new mindsets and behaviours. This will not only support you and keep you on track but more importantly will help you turn your vision into reality. I truly believe that there is a bold next step for each and every one of you and when you start to let go of the old stuff that no longer serves you and step into a new reality that anything is truly possible. This is a reality where you don’t let fear or self doubt hold you back and you start to really own your own power.
