ANNOUNCEMENTS Mission Prayer Focus: Thank you God for calling our attention to the needs of your people in Forsyth County, in Alleghany County through Mission Camp at Laurel Ridge, in Staten Island New York, in College Station, Texas, and in Costa Rica, and Croatia and Bosnia. Thank you for calling youth and adults from Friedland to step out in faith and to GO and minister. Pray that hearts will be softened to help wherever You call us.

Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost September 15, 2013

Thank You Luncheon will be served today in the Fellowship Hall for your contributions made to the Youth Mission efforts. The Costa Rica Mission Group will speak on their Mission Trip. In addition reports on the Staten Island Sandy Relief Effort and Laurel Ridge Mission Camp will be given. Please join us for a Light Lunch. Boy Scout Troop and Cub Scout Pack Yard Sale: The Scouts will hold their yard sale on Saturday, September 28 from 7:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. If you have items to donate for the yard sale, bring them to the cabin on Saturday September 21 from 9:00-Noon. If items are to large for you to move call Larry Jarvis at 788-5104. Proceeds will support our boys going on a trip to visit the USS Yorktown in Charleston, SC in the early spring.
