Construction News Written By Rachel Padro Here is the latest on how the construction around FRCC will be affecting students. The new northeast parking lot , Lot 11, is open and ready for parking. Entrance 2 by the rotunda is scheduled to be complete by fall semester, until then, the student life hallway and cafeteria can be accessed by the Snowy Peaks entrance or the east side of the rotunda. The parking lot and roundabout between the Children’s Place and the main building will be closed as of Monday, July 22, for 2-3 weeks. Those with disabilities can be

dropped off to the east of the rotunda, there is an ADA access walk leading to Entrance 3 (the tunnel entrance in the middle of the building) for the C level. The construction to install a right turn into the college and right turn only out of the college will begin on Monday, July 22. The main entrance will be closed for 2-3 weeks, and students may use the far east entrance to the campus or the College Hill Library entrance. Students who normally park in the lot south of the rotunda will have to use the far east entrance. Students who use the lot to the west of the roundabout

will have to use the College Hill Library entrance. At Entrance 8 (B level by the math department), construction is scheduled for the sidewalks from the parking lot to the entrance, and this entrance will be closed as of Monday July 22 for about 2 weeks. ADA access to the B level will be through Entrance 7. Also, remember that the stoplight at the far east entrance will NOT be installed until mid-December. Please use caution if you are turning east out of that entrance, or even better, drive to the entrance by College Hill Library and use the light to turn east.
