Good Things Coming As we have a few months to unwind, regroup and spend some time doing some other activities, don’t forget to renew your memberships and get your number secured for next year. We are only a few months out before the first pre-entry form will be available and you don’t want to stand in line getting your FTR, AMA and your child’s minor release card. Start getting all this done now and have your ducks in a row when you show up at the sign up trailers. Have all your paper-
work filled out, signed and ready for processing. Nothing worse than getting up to the window and having to sign and fill out parts of your entry while everyone waits behind you rolling their eyes. Let’s all be proactive this summer and get all your cards now as we only have a little over two months before the season starts. AMA takes several weeks if not a month to get your membership and minor release, don’t wait until the week before the first event and expect to have it in time. As sheriff Grady Judd would say, “Did you Hear Me” ! Do it now….. The starting grid will have a little different sound this coming season as we have incorporated a professional sound system that will enhance the announcements, information and our national anthem. Our current P/A system will be utilized at the PeeWee course to keep everyone on the same page there also. We are also looking at a video system for backup scoring to record all riders coming through the scor-

ing chicane. We also have some manufacturers looking to support our series this coming season with products for our riders and the banquet, so stay tuned for some announcements in the near future. Even though we are in the off season for a few months, a lot happens during that time to make our organization and series more efficient, effective and professional. Emails, phone calls and meetings that keep us working closely on a weekly basis to improve and make positive decisions that will reflect on our organization. Also remember, this is YOUR magazine and we want to hear from you with stories, pictures and anything you want to write about. Send in those family pictures, pet pictures and of course those riding pics. If you don’t have time or don’t want to do it, have your children do it as we need content.
