For both programs, reservations are required and space is limited. All children must be registered in CYSS to be eligible for either program.

What is Tell Me A Story?
Tell Me a Story: Making Connections and Finding Support through Literature is an initiative that was created to empower our military children by using literature and their own stories. Tell Me A Story is geared toward children ages 4-12. Each Family will receive a copy of “Our Fifty States” by Lynne Cheney. 7 STRESS MANAGEMENT: THE NEW YOU, HEALTHY LIVING: 0830 to 1000 This class explores the strategies for enhanced mental and physical longevity and healthy living. It also takes a look at the effect that chronic stress can have on a body’s overall well-being and offers tips for reducing stress and integrating healthy living strategies. 14 WTB/SFAC CHILDREN’S CRAFT ACTIVITY: 1000 to 1200 Craft activity for the children of the WTB. Craft activity of the month is Easter Water Color Art. Calling all Rhymesters, Poets, and Wordsmiths! Join the Library in celebrating National Poetry Month.
This an opportunity to have your poetry submissions featured nationally in the May edition of Soldiers Magazine. We are asking for Soldiers, wives, children, etc. to submit their writings regarding deployment, loneliness, grief, etc. for publication. If the writer prefers to remain anonymous, we will respect his or her wishes and refrain from using any identifying information. All submissions will be bound and kept in the Library as part of its archives for patrons to enjoy.
