Rock climbing is a great mental and physical challenge that is fun. We are lucky enough to have our own indoor rock climbing wall right here on Fort Wainwright! Come once to try it out, or come weekly and add indoor climbing to your regular workout schedule. This is a great way to train for the real rock Alaska has to offer.

Women in Come into Glass the Wilderness Park with us for a half day Back country Workshop!

August 8 at 10 a.m. This workshop will include topics ranging from hiking techniques, to back country cooking, fire building, shelter building and any other topics you may have questions about! Bring comfortable hiking shoes, snacks and water. Cost is $10 per female participants. Open to women ages 7 and up. Youth under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
