The fall colors should be in full swing and the cooler days should make for pleasant hiking on this 16 mile loop. Pick some berries along the way or stay up late to possibly catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights dancing above the landscape on this classic interior hike.

Participants will receive their 4-H Baby sitter Certificate and American Heart Association CPR and First Aid certifications upon successful completion of the course. This is a partnership with ACS and CYSS. September 17: CUDDLE CURE CLASS 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Child Development Center I, Building 4024 Learn how to soothe your fussy baby in five minutes or less. This two hour class is recommended for anyone who has interest in the well being of infants from birth to 3 months of age. Limited free child care available. This is a partnership with ACS and CYSS.

Start Smart is a parent child skill development program with six sessions that are one night a week for one hour facilitated by CYSS Staff. Parent participation is strongly encouraged and required.
CYSS Sports and Fitness hosts a RECREATIONAL LEAGUE that is inclusive of ALL youth who want to learn the fundamentals of a sport and have fun. Parents with greater sports ambitions for their youth may want to look in the Fairbanks community for competitive leagues. A current physical must be on file before registering. Physicals current within one year of the beginning of the activity/session will be accepted. All registrations are done at Parent Central Services, 4391 Neely Rd. inside the School Age Services building.

Cost: $33 per month per child per session When: M, W, F 9 to 10:30 a.m., or 10:30 to 12 p.m. Children must be pre-registered at Parent Central Services, 4391 Neely Rd., room 18. Pre-registration begins the 20th of the month for the next month’s sessions. AFC Benefits for families of Deployed Soldiers, Wounded Warriors, or Fallen Soldiers may be used to pay for this care.
