W ashington State voters appr oved this state’ s marriage equality law in 2012 and Mayor Ed Murray – Seattle’s first openly gay mayor who r ecently married his long-time partner – eagerly joined Visit Seattle and Seattle’s tourism community to help launch our Marry Me in Seattle campaign. It’s all here, waiting to be experienced. W e’re proud to welcome you to Seattle. Enjoy your visit!

The gay and lesbian scene congregates primarily on Capitol Hill and you will find most of the new mainstr eam editions welcome people from all walks of life. Lumbersexuals, bears, twinks, muscle marys, cir cuit queens, leather daddies and dandies work their unique styles of fashion or fetish S&M behind the doors of these venues which cater to all “50 Shades of Gay,” and all within walking distance so you can feast on mor e than one victim nightly.
