The Gabarron Foundation is proud to reconnect with one of our International Award Winners, Somaly Mam. She received The 2004 Gabarron International Awards in Thought and Humanities.
Evening of Hope is proud to kick off the fifth annual installment for the World Race for Hope- A global campaign to raise hope about human trafficking. The 5km run/walk events on New Year’s Day are simultaneously taking place in Ohio, Florida and New York (with more to come) along with the option to participate virtually by running or walking anywhere! Most importantly there will be live music, a live performance, appetizers ad open bar, “support” challenges, a raffle, networking with other NYC area with volunteers and supporters. World Race for Hope is organized by PROJECT FUTURE global volunteer Brett Blogan, Manager of Security Investigation at Reed Elsevier, with assistant Ambassadors of Hope that are helping around the country. All the proceeds will go to Somaly Mam foundation, a nonprofit committed to ending slavery in North America and around the world.
