LG’s groundbreaking UVnano technology in both the APX and IPX models also removes 99.99% of germs from humidity, bacteria, and viruses within the unit. Its high removal efficiency was tested and certified by TUV Rheinland in South Korea in March 2021, together with the certified capability to prevent the growth of fungi and microbes that can cause allergies, colds, and lung infections. The IPX model comes with the Ionizer+ feature, also tested by TUV Rheinland, which sterilized 99.9% of all traces of SARSCoV2 in controlled test conditions.
