LOTTE WORLD ADVENTURE THEME PARK OPENED AT THE END OF MARCH

SOUTH KOREA HAS GOT A BRAND-NEW MEGA-PARK

Following a soft opening period from March 17-20, on March 31 the all-new Lotte World Adventure theme park in South Korea officially opened its gates. Operating company Lotte World, which operates the Lotte World theme park in Seoul as well as other visitor destinations in the country such as the Seoul Sky, the Lotte Aquarium and the Lotte Waterpark, designed the park in collaboration with Hollywood-based entertainment design firm Legacy Entertainment. “For over 30 years, Lotte World has set the gold standard for family entertainment in South Korea,” said Yaeli Chung, Legacy’s Managing Director of Korea. “Our entire team feels very fortunate and humbled to help Lotte World write its next chapter in Busan.” The 20-hectare park boasts 6 immersive themed zones: Tinker Falls, Rainbow Springs, Wonder Woods, Queen Lorry’s Royal Garden, Joyful Meadows, and Underland. Signature attractions include the Giant Digger launched coaster by Mack Rides, the Giant Splash Super Splash model by the same manufacturer, Giant Swing by Zamperla, and Ogre’s Flume by ABC Rides, as well as Korea’s first Roller Coaster Restaurant. “Working closely with the team from Lotte World, we aimed to redefine what an Asian regional theme park can be,” adds Ms. Chung. “All across Asia, countless theme parks have popped up in recent years, each one more drab and forgettable than the last. LA COREA DEL SUD HA UN NUOVO MEGAPARCO

Dopo un’apertura soft dal 17 al 20 marzo, il 31 marzo a Pusan, Corea del Sud ha aperto ufficialmente i cancelli il nuovissimo parco a tema Lotte World Adventure. La società proprietaria Lotte World - che oltre al parco a tema Lotte World di Seoul gestisce anche altre destinazioni turistiche nel Paese come il Seoul Sky, il Lotte Aquarium e il Lotte Waterpark - ha progettato il nuovo parco in collaborazione con lo studio Legacy Entertainment di Hollywood, specializzato in progetti di intrattenimento. “Da oltre 30 anni, Lotte World è lo standard di riferimento per l’intrattenimento familiare in Corea del Sud”, ha affermato Yaeli Chung, Ad di Legacy per la Corea. Osiria currently features a dynamic array of attractions and experiences, such as an outlet complex, a science museum, a golf club, and an Ikea store. Il parco, esteso su 20 ettari, vanta sei coinvolgenti zone tematiche: Tinker Falls, Rainbow Springs, Wonder Woods, Queen Lorry’s Royal Garden, Joyful Meadows e Underland. Le attrazioni principali comprendono il launched coaster Giant Digger di Mack Rides, Giant Splash, ovvero un modello Super Splash dello stesso produttore, Giant Swing di Zamperla e Ogre’s Flume di ABC Rides, oltre al primo Roller Coaster Restaurant della Corea. “Lavorando a stretto contatto con il team di Lotte World, abbiamo puntato a ridefinire cosa può essere un parco tematico regionale in Asia”, ha aggiunto la signora Chung. “In tutta l’Asia, negli ultimi anni sono sorti innumerevoli parchi a tema, uno più squallido e insignificante dell’altro. Questo non sarà il caso di Lotte World Adventure. Gli ospiti troveranno un parco giardino emotivamente caldo e invitante con un layout stupendo, attrazioni magnificamente bilanciate e una perfetta integrazione delle attrazioni nelle loro ambientazioni. Chi lo visiterà non vorrà più andarsene”. Lotte World Adventure sarà il fulcro del complesso turistico Osiria, a circa 45 minuti di treno dal centro di Pusan. Attualmente Osiria offre, tra le altre cose, un outlet, un museo della scienza, un campo da golf e uno store Ikea. In futuro ci saranno anche un Hilton Hotel e l’acquapark Aqua World.
