Helping Families Eat BETTER for LESS The Patriot Academy for School Success ( PASS Program) is excited to offer our families a series of 6 sessions entitled “ Food Talk”. On March 3rd, Rebecca Creasy from the Expanded Food and Nutrition Educational Program (EFNEP) met with students and PASS parents for our March family engagement. She introduced the nutritional program “Food Talk” and discussed topics to be covered in the next 6 sessions. Parents are encouraged to attend all six sessions to receive a graduation certificate and a free cookbook. The goal of “Food Talk” is to help families prepare nutritious, simple and inexpensive meals. Recipes, safe food preparation and money saving tips will be included in topics.
