THANK YOU I would like to thank all the people in Wilcox County who supported me during the recent election for tax commissioner. There were a few of you who had the confidence that I could do the job, and for that I am thankful. My unfortunate accident with my ankle prevented me from getting out and talking to people personally. I don't know that it would have made any difference, but I would have liked to have been able to do that. Apparently, God has different plans for me. Congratulations to Carolyn Elsberry. She ran a great campaign and worked really hard to get the votes. I wish her all the best as I know she will do a great job as our next tax commissioner.
